Came here prior to catering from them for 40 people. Their complimentary chips and salsa were one of the best I've had- VERY flavorful, fresh, and spicy. Their nachos were very fresh and perfectly salted as well. I also tried their mini veggie burrito, stuffed jalapeño ( stuffed with cheese and veggies), and verde enchiladas. Everything was made to order from scratch, and oh so absolutely delicious. Veggies were all perfectly cooked and flavored, their hot sauces are on point and would highly recommend adding. In terms of catering, dealt with the manager there for vegetarian catering. We did chips and salsa, guacamole, mini veggie burrito and empanadas for apps and burrito bowl for the main entree. Also spoke to the owner who was VERY accommodating with the vegetarian requirements. Would highly recommend them for catering or dining in!

Only giving two stars because the quesadilla was very good like always .I usually order through uber eats or grubhub but today I decided to call the restaurant directly and place an order for delivery . I ordered my usual which is the carne asada and the kids chicken quesadilla for my child . But I also decided to give the calamares fritos a try and wow was I disappointed . Well to start off as you can see in the picture the carne asada doesn’t look good and as soon as I started eating I realized it had a very different and unpleasant taste and the smell was very strong, I took one bite and I ended up throwing everything away . The calamares were also undercooked. I spent over $50 on my food which was a total waste of money so I obviously decided to call the restaurant and let them know and the girl I spoke to on the phone gave me absolutely no solution. She just kept saying “oh yeah it’s just probably the marinade maybe they used something different today that’s why it has a different taste because everything else looks fine and you are the only one that has complained today” and I kept on insisting that it wasn’t the marinade there was definitely something wrong with the meat because like I said I order from here at least 4 times a month and i have never had an issue before . I just felt like she tried to make it seem like I was making stuff up but honestly I have no need to do that like I said this is the first time this has happened with the meat . She just seemed in a rush to get off the phone with me and at the end she just said “ I’ll let the kitchen know that the marinade isn’t good” and hung up. Even though I was actually being pretty nice about the whole situation . Usually a guy answers the phone so It’s just really frustrating to see the lack of costumer service skills this girl has. Honestly I’m just SO disappointed that I spent so much money on something I couldn’t even eat. Update to this review: I contacted Gustavo after he left the response to my review and I never even received a call back or a reply from him. Sad to know they don’t care to resolve an issue for a long time customer who has been ordering from them for years at least 2 times a month. Very disappointed

Really fortunate to have great Mexican food locally here in Hackensack. During the pandemic, I ordered delivery and takeout frequently and was already happy with their meals. Dining-in was no different. The food is always delicious and authentic, and the staff is very friendly. I love their meals, but the tacos are my go to.

The food is alright is in town which is good but I mean if you want authentic gotta go Passaic instead,what can I say they charge for HOT sauce never in my life knew Mexican restaurants charge for hot sauce very funny there like your food doesn’t come with hot sauce I’m like don’t tell me how to eat my food I’ll eat it the way I want to…
