Loved our first experience at Gordos. Food delicious, coconut margarita fabulous, attentive and friendly servers and fun atmosphere. Will definitely be back

An amazing restaurant and brilliant food, we went on a Monday evening and the place was packed and buzzing, food was all freshly prepared and tasted wonderful. Great atmosphere and decent music playing in the background. A must try 5 STAR !!

Went for a relaxed lunch and ordered the meal deal (£14.99 for lemonade/coke, a starter, and a chimichanga). I had the veggie options and there were other veggie dishes not included in the deal. The menu also seemed to have a number of GF options.
The fresh lemonade was delightful and all the food was delicious, so we were very satisfied with the deal we chose.
Service was a little slow but we were given complimentary fresh tortilla chips and dips (also delicious) while we waited... we could tell the staff were busy and we weren't in a rush.
Would recommend as the food was great, looking forward to our next visit!

We stopped off to have some birthday lunch with my wife. The atmosphere was nice with the decor was looking great.
The staff were friendly and prompt. We were one of two tables at the time and had no problems getting the servers attention or asking for recommendations.
The food... It was fantastic. Made to order right by our table. Seasoned perfectly, not greasy, cooked to perfection. Timed perfectly with the cocktails we ordered.
Unfortunately my wife's order was mixed up with a meat dish (she is vegetarian), however this was no fuss, they remade her dish straight away.
Only critique I have was that the cocktails did take a little time to get to us (second round), however this was because they were being made fresh right next to our table. They were delicious though!
Highly recommended to anyone wanting a good Mexican meal!

Seriously the only true Mexican south of the Rio Wey. Independently run, character-full decor and music, customised service... three times so far I have felt spoiled, though I am always keener on unique experiences.
Added to this is the passion they put in making each taco and enchilada colourful, decorated right in front of you. The food tastes good and really fresh, and is delicately presented, unlike the Tex-Mex chains.
The reason for 4× is just size-wise: A companion pointed out recently that even with the complimentary super tasty warm nachos, bigger appetites might need to add up sides to their main meals. Or maybe we just had too many strawberry margaritas and forgot about the meal?
I look forward to coming back again, also because of their occasional Mariachi nights.
P.S. How do you always make the plates and cutlery shine like new?

I almost never write any reviews on Google maps, but this is so good that I decided to write one. I honestly didn't expect to find such fantastic mexican food in Guildford. Keep up the good work.

I have been to Gordos twice and I love it. The strawberry margaritas are delicious and the food has been great both times. If you like meat to be the star of the dish for the tacos 🤤. Even the free warm tacos at the start are delicious.

Food was so tasty & Fresh - Al Pastor Tacos and Bean and cheese quesadilla were stand out for me but everything was great.
Can't wait to get back soon & have already recommended to all of my friends!
