Elmer's Restaurant - Gresham

Outstanding customer service and utterly amazing food. The bacon is soooo good. One of, if not the best bacon I've ever had. French toast tastes like your Mom or Grandma made it. Top notch. I would recommend this place any day, any time. This is like the breakfast restaurants/diners you always think about and hear about when you think of old school cooking. Tastes like homemade. Prices are what they should be, which is impressive considering restaurants all over are jacking up prices. Not here. This hit the spot and I can't wait for when I am in town again so I can stop by. 10/10

Same good consistency I’m use to from Elmers. I had the veggie omelette with blueberry pancakes. The blueberry pancakes didn’t have very many blueberries, maybe like 6 in 3 pancakes. Thanks for responding. I called the number and the person answered the phone said she is gone for the day. Thanks I’ll email. The pancakes also tasted like corn flour. I tried to find the ingredients on line but I couldn’t.

I was a Line Cook at this restaurant in the 80's We had good folks lined up 3 to 5 blocks coming to have Sunday Brunch I was the Egg cook and I worked with Mr Bob Elmer Great Job until the dishwashers had a water fight late one night and I had the big pan of hot cracklins and grease to empty out back and clean the deep fat fryer as we did every night I had some blisters on my face from the little bit of oil that splattered on me. I threw the pan as far as I could before I landed on my tailbone It's all good though It ended my cooking career 💞 Bonnie Lee Parker Loved my job Loved the people I worked with

That has to be one of the best Reuben's sandwiches I've ever had! Piled high with corned beef and sauerkraut - it was hard to get my mouth around. So very good. Could only eat half. My husband had breakfast. He said it was really good. Thanks to our server who was busy as a beaver. She was cute with pig tails and reddish hair. Awesome place to eat!
