La Bamba

Take one look at their restroom and it will tell you everything you need to know about this restaurant. It’s disgusting. The floor + table tops are sticky, our silverware was dirty, and there were flies flying around while we were eating. It’s clear that they don’t take cleaning seriously. I’d be afraid to see what the kitchen looks like. 🫣 Service is usually slow. I used to love this place but I’m officially no longer interested in eating here ever again. A word of advice: hire a cleaning service.

I order from LA Bamba almost every week. I order a California Quesada every time. Today all I got were scraps, the ends of the broccoli, cauliflower, the carrots were huge and it was full of onions..I don't know what's up with that but all I could eat was the wrap. This has happened a time b4 and this is the last time

Don’t travel to Greensboro too often but tonight we did. This was my first visit to La Bamba and I thought it was a pleasant experience. The staff and servers were very friendly and courteous. I had some shrimp and ribeye and it was wonderful. Water, chips and dip were very tasty. I highly recommend this place. Give them a try!

TLDR: seems like “gringo” Mexican to me & don’t go there late with even low-level expectations. Full review: Heads up: the tacos as they came for me are Americanized Taco Bell versions with mushy ground beef on flour tortilla, lettuce & cheese(the combos don’t say what kind of taco they come with-wouldn’t have gotten it if I knew). When I go somewhere pretty late I excuse a lot of things: I don’t expect great service or super fresh food. But literally everything tasted bland & we had to doctor it up with some tajín, etc just to eat some of it. Quesadilla came soggy, potato burrito, enchilada, rice, & beans had no seasoning. The food was cold too, yet it took a while for them to bring it out even though we called in for takeout, but again I excuse things for lateness. Food just wasn’t appealing though; I didn’t even finish it. I had high hopes w/ the ratings that it would be at least decent. Guess it might be to certain people (or the cook just completely stopped caring for the night & couldn’t be bothered to just throw any seasoning at all on there).
