Panera Bread

The pastries of Panera Bread are decent and we visit there every one to two weeks when we don’t have any idea what to eat for breakfast. We have subscribed to their unlimited coffee plan for months and this was our first time seeing that all the coffee wasn’t served in hot & fresh. Hence, we were disappointed with their service at this location. The indoor dining is currently available and their safety procedures for COVID-19 is pretty good. The staff checked temperature for every customer and kept social distance between tables.

Update: adding 1 star because they leave the almond milk out for anyone to take..incredible...other stores make you ask beg and plead for it... Also took my temperature and made me fill out a contact tracing card.. Not the best service and a more beat up store..but they had everything I wanted..almond milk and an orange scone...plus NYC is the best place in the USA and I've been to every state in 🇺🇸

The food at Panerai Bread, the service, and the atmosphere is excellent. The only negative I found was my temperature came in at 92.6 degrees Fahrenheit. The person who had their temperature before also had a temperature reading of 92.6. It just made me wonder if everyone entering had the same rather really low temperature,

Unfortunately this trip was the worst experience I’ve ever had at this location. I understand that during this pandemic, some situations may become difficult, but after I ordered, I stood up for over 30 minutes at the pick up counter to get my food. There were plenty of orders, but I watched my two hot sandwiches be made and sit on the counter for 20 minutes before receiving the other items of my order. When it was time to wrap them up, one of them was nearly dropped so most of the trimmings had fallen out, but to save time it was wrapped like that anyway. The second sandwich lacked the trimmings in a rush to get the orders completed. I was given my bag and told sorry for the wait. When I checked it, I was missing a bag of chips so I asked for a bag and the employee gave me one like she was doing me a favor for waiting not knowing that it was a missing part of my order.
