Home Team Grill

Home Team Grill combines a sports bar feel with a restaurant hospitality. Offers some of the most delicious burgers in the area, with personable, swift, knowledgeable and kind service. I’d encourage anyone in or around Insbrook to visit Home Team Grill. It has more of a local feel, and food is really good. The price is on a higher end among this kind of restaurants. The sides are not overly big, while the price can be in the $11-13 for the burgers.

The food was good and the service was good. Also fast. I've ordered lunch from HTG before and had it delivered but we all know there is no way for fries to stay hot and fresh when being delivered. it was so much better in person. I had a buffalo chicken sandwich and it was so good. The place filled up quickly with families and it seemed like a lot of regulars just based on server interaction.

I'm very skeptical of places I've never been to a specially if I have not received any recommendation from anyone that I know. Although I must admit I was exceptionally surprised at how delicious the meal was how pumped our service was and how flavorful the beer was. Wow.....where to begin......we got there and they were busy. I assumed it was for the college football games. I've never been to a sports themed restaurant where 8 of their 10 TVs were off!! The sign said "Wait to be seated" so we did. And we waited and waited and waited. When we were about to leave they asked if we had been helped. The girl had to go clean a table before we could be seated. They didn't seem to clear a table until the next customer comes in and they have to clean it. For instance, the table beside us was filthy from the time the customers left (four little, very loud, soccer players who made a huge mess) until we were almost done with lunch and they needed to seat people. So we sat down and, again, we waited for someone to take our order. Now....they were busy.....but that didn't seem to speed them up any. The place was dirty. I looked down while we were waiting for our food and there was food all under our table......like half a hamburger and some fries and paper. The bathroom was horrible. The hallway outside the bathroom had used paper towels all in the floor. Now....to be fair......that could have been a result of the (what felt like) million or so little athletes that were everywhere.......kids make a mess.....but management should be on top of that. Our food finally arrived. I had to go to the front counter and ask for silverware and napkins. They ask if you want your burger pink or no pink. I said no pink not realizing that meant burned. It just was not a good experience at all. It really surprised me because I've been to the one downtown several times and it was great. I was disappointed.

I ordered a hamburger with bacon jam... I wasn't sure what that was, but it was really good! Burger it was really thick and cooked perfectly, the bread was grilled...very nice! I was given a glass of water without asking for my wait. In the bag was napkins, silverware and wet wipes. I was very impressed! French fries were good but a little overcooked for my taste. Overall great experience!

A local sports bar with good food. They have plenty of TVs and a friendly staff. The hostess Caroline was very friendly help us out and made us feel at home. We had Felicia as our server and she made good recommendations along with making us feel at home. I had the Ram sandwich which was a buffalo chicken with their fresh-cut home chips. A nice sports bar with a kid friendly atmosphere

We snuck in to Home Team after 7 on a Saturday to catch the elongated end of the Homie game. We were seated immediately with plenty of viewing options for the game. We ordered a couple beers which came quick. A few craft beers on tap and a wide variety of bottled beers, all displayed in an easy to understand menu. As the football game marched on to it's 6th overtime, we ordered our meal. I asked for a chicken wrap, my wife had a steak sandwich and my 10yr daughter order a NY Strip off the adult menu, medium rare. Food came out quick. My wrap was great, albeit very messy. The bottom of both halves unraveled as I was eating it. The paper it was wrapped in was soaked and shredded easily. My Daughter's steak was cooked perfectly. They even cut it for her which was a nice surprise.
