Great place with amazing atmosphere. We enjoyed a delicious lunch. The service was great. We would enjoy visiting the place again.

It was my first visit to this pub and I was impressed. We had a bar meal, two of the party had the fish, one had the sharing platter (his eyes were bigger than his stomach) and I had the steak and ale pie with extremely lovely buttery mash. Our compliments to the chef. The staff were very pleasant. The pub and the toilets were clean 👍 The pub has TV screens showing different sports so the atmosphere can be loud but that didn't interfere with a good evening. I'll certainly return.

What an amazing gem of a pub in the West End of Glasgow!! Great service,cracking food and amazing friendly atmosphere!! The man in charge with a Conservative hairline is so slim he is often seen attempting to hide behind a pillar ready to pounce like a svelte tiger 🐅 😳 to offer 5 star service!! I'm sure I once saw him swimming backstroke up the Clyde whistling dixieland but I may be wrong!

Shannon is so friendly and amazing! Saw her helping out a customer on what they wanted to have for food. She is very attentive and so customer focused. It's a great place to drink and dine but the staff deserve most of the praise...they are all such hard working and friendly people who truly care for their customers.

The bar staff having a collective and suited uniform was a nice touch, the atmosphere was very welcoming, and the addition of fruit to my partners Gin really made her smile. I thought the staff were incredibly polite and non badgering.

An excellent traditional pub. Swift service, but with predictable West End prices. It was V busy when I visited, 6pm on a Friday. There is a smoking area at the back for 21st century sinners.

Great pub witb traditional features , seating area available and standing at the bar. Good range of all drinks and drafts with a friendly and attentive staff ..many tv screens screaning different sports games so a bit for everyone. Toilets on site , newly done to an excellent standard and very clean. Food available too with a pub grub. Prices are reasonable £4 for a pint of Amstel.

Stopped in a for a glass of red before my flight. Nice ambience and views of the airport.
The "waitress" , Sarah was so friendly and welcoming. She chats so naturally to everyone... I think everyone that she served ended up with a lovely smile. I ended up having a second glass just to hear how her kitten is getting on🤣.
Personal service and friendliness like this are rare these days. Traveling alone can be tiresome, so the occasional experience like this is precious. Well done Sarah. You'll go far.... An asset to the bar. 🙏.
Oh yes, the merlot was pretty decent too.....

I didn't spend that much time here, had a couple of pints, but long enough to get a general feel for the place. It's a favourite of my brother-in-law's who's from near the area and it was his Idea to call in. A good traditional pub with a decent amount of drinks to choose from and a nice place to spend time, especially when we managed to call in while the quiz was running, so that was entertaining.

Having spent the last week in Glasgow enjoying many great meals, including 4 different steak pie lunches, this one was the best. Washed down with a pint of heavy, delicious. Staff very friendly, helpful and attentive. I will be back in my next visit to Glasgow.

We had such a warm welcome on an otherwise chilly first day in Scotland at this cozy pub. Our server, Connie, was as welcoming as you could hope for. The food was good, the portions generous, and the ambiance just right for having a leisurely paced meal in a Scottish tavern. Highly recommended.
