Cotton Patch Cafe

Not good today! Usually love the Cotton Patch! Today ordered their new chicken salad sandwich to go!! Not good took one bite and was done looked like it was made with cat food. Not sure what has happened over the last few weeks but serving something like this and charging that amount of money completely unacceptable. I was able to enjoy the fried green tomatoes those were the bomb as usual. I have pics of the sandwich for proof!

I’ve never been to a more somber restaurant in my life with the worst customer service I have experienced in a very VERY long time. I went with my family Sunday at about 3pm and it was not busy what so ever. We were made to wait nearly 15 minutes to even get our drink order by what seemed to be by the MOD, yet he didn’t apologize for the wait or greet us with any type of positivity. We then waited even longer to order and get our food that was so poorly made. The poor hostess was made to take our order. There wasn’t any acknowledgment from a single waiter. There were at least 3 waitresses and not a single one with the sense of urgency to host and provide great service. As I looked around the restaurant I could see the discontent look on many customer faces just like mine. As my order started to arrive I looked at it and simply lost my appetite. The food looked so poorly prepared. I told the hostess I was not paying for it and that my family and I we’re leaving. We canceled our order and only paid for my sons Mac and cheese. An entire hour and a half of my Sunday time with my family was waisted. This place needs desperate revamping with new management and waiters who care to create a vibrant atmosphere and provide quality food, NOT what I experienced today.

The Cotton Patch is usually very good but this visit they were extremely short staff so there was a wait to be seated as well as to have your order taken. Food was still good. I hope they are able to hire more people soon. The ladies and gentlemen there at the time were giving it their best. I will go back during non peak hours.

Group of 4 of us today went there for lunch. They told us it was 15 minute wait but were quickly sat down within 3 or so minutes which was nice. But shortly after that service went downhill fast. We were asked what we wanted to drink. Got our drinks and then asked if we were ready to order. We ordered our food and really didn't see our waitress again until I approached them asking for our checks. Another person dropped off the food to us and was nice unlike the first waitress. The food was really good though. When I asked the waitress for the checks she seemed irriated and stopped cleaning the table to go get the check. Before she came back, I walked up to her asking her if they could be 4 separate checks and she rolled her eyes and really seemed irritated. I sat back down and she came back with a single check and said who had what and literally said, everyone asks for single checks and it's so difficult. She came back a few minutes later with individual checks. We asked her for 2 refills and and a to go box and she looked at us ugly and dropped the cards down on the table and went and got the items we asked for. I know they may be short staffed, but there wasn't but maybe 5 tables of people seated with the 2 waitresses working. Not only that, but it was really hot inside there. I was sweating while I ate. And the waitress was even snappy with I'm assuming he was a manager. I will not be going back anytime soon based on that visit.
