The Red Dove Tavern

This is truly a rare find. A foodie heaven. The chef and staff have a rare passion for culinary experience. Do not be fooled by the unassuming exterior nor the low key interior. Wait to see the menu and you will be rewarded. We had well prepared pre-dinner cocktails that were on the scale of any NYC grade mixologist, the three courses we ordered were perfect and only topped by one of the most interesting desert menus I've seen in awhile. The whole evening was one of the most enjoyable interesting food experiences I have had in a long time. Go. Enjoy. Our server Seamus was well educated on the menu and was happy to recommend and share details. We had a great Tuscan wine that was a great addition.

This is a Geneva MUST VISIT! I love the versatile menu and friendly almost family like staff. I love starting with the buffalo fried chickpeas and can never go wrong with the bacon jam burger. However, you have to check the specials! These dishes feature local farm fresh ingredients, so don't sleep on them. If you're in Geneva, you have to visit... even for just a drink. The corner of the bar is my favorite :-)

We came here on a Wednesday so the dozen dollar oysters with their big selection of local craft beer would have been enough so there you go five stars, but no, there were also the gastropub foodie small plates, like a locally-sourced roast zucchini feta walnut which was so much better than it sounds. Bravo.

Comfortable atmosphere and nice menu. A bit on the pricey side. We ended up choosing sandwiches. Three bread/rolls they used are very nice, but I had the flank steak sandwich and wasn't satisfied. The sandwich itself was prepared with brie, grilled onions and lots of pepper. Looked like they had many local beers and wine, but we didn't imbibe.

Great food, mellow atmosphere, excellent beer list (including many local craft beers) and friendly staff. The bartender was great. Didn’t catch her name, but she was very enthusiastic and knowledgable about the local beers and was quick to offer a recommendation and a taste. We’ll definitely be back.
