Walking Crab

April 15 2022 at 615pm. I ordered two plates. A pick 3 with scallops shrimp and flounder. And just a pick 2 flounder and shrimp. Now it was hot so no complaints there. I wanted cocktail and non of that. But to the food. Fish shrimp and scallops had no flavor at all. Taste like they battered in with no seasoning. Mac and cheese not good no flavor again. I ate some but the rest is going to my KING OUTSIDE

Perhaps the positive reviews are old reviews from a time when this place actually was good or under different management. Most likely they are from friends and family of the owners. I ordered food here today, and what I paid $50 for was absolute GARBAGE. Essentially, I got a plastic bag filled with some kind of brown oily water, weighted down with hunks of potatoes, a few pieces of a sausage, a cob of corn, a semblance of broccoli, and meatless crab shells. I absolutely hate to bash what appears to be a Black-owned business. But hey, you scammed me. So I don’t feel too bad about it. Typically, I would have returned to the business for a refund in a situation like this. But since I’m a trucker, I don’t always have that opportunity.

Where do I even begin? Probably with the word: INCREDIBLE! Absolutely everything was immaculate. The seafood alfredo? Hands down the best I've ever had. Seasoned beautifully, the alfredo sauce thick and creamy, the shrimp cooked to perfection. The fried shrimp was seasoned heavenly and fried perfectly. The butter sauces all flavorful. The salmon perfect. Everything was perfect! I cannot accurately put into words just how incredible this meal was! Everyone was so incredibly friendly and welcoming. This is definitely a hidden gem of Garber and I will definitely be returning!

I order from here on 1/2/22. I could not believe it. The food was HORRIBLE!! I spent 50.00 on food I could not eat. The corn was frost bite as if it was in the freezer for months. The Mac and cheese was precooked and obviously frozen and tasted like cold cardboard. The fish and shrimp was not freshly fried. I was truly disappointed as it was a birthday treat for my daughter. Maybe the establishment is under new management as I have ordered from here before and the food was very good. I will not be returning and do not recommend this place to anyone.

I walked in and ordered a shrimp plate for take out! I got home and realized there was no sausage added to my order an no garlic and butter sauce. Instead, I got tons of potatoes, very little shrimp and old bay seasonings with very little butter. The food was dry and it had very little spices. Very disappointing! I paid $25 for my plate and it wasn't worth the trip or money! What happened to the quality and quantity of food that was served when this place opened? The food was horrible and I will not return again! Somebody doesn't know the menu and cook the food properly too!

Had the pleasure of getting my family some dinner from their food truck which was parked at Gizmo Brewery in Raleigh. Their crab boil was delicious, potatoes were great and not over done. The sausage was yum (kielbasa?). The spices they use for their crabs are fantastic. The catfish and shrimp baskets were awesome too. The fries were really delicious and not just “blah.” I loved the fried catfish, spiced with something awesome.

Customer service was amazing just like the food. First time ever going here and can honestly say that I will definitely be going back in the near future.Had some fried catfish with fries and crab legs,sausage,corn on the cob,shrimp,potatoes which were topped with their savory garlic butter. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
