El Griton Mexican Grill

First, El Griton has the absolute best Mexican food in the area. Period. It’s always consistently fantastic. The most impressive aspect is this business is easily their customer service. My family had ordered a pick up order and once we got home, we realized we were missing a burrito. I called, and I was planning to go pick it up, but the owner answerd and delivered it to my house. We live about 20 minutes away from the restaurant, so the fact that they went completely above and beyond really was appreciated. I highly recommend El Griton

Family owned and run restaurant using family recipes. The salsa is thick and tasty with the right amount of heat. The guacamole is made fresh and has a hint of lime. Their mole is fantastic. The servings are plentiful. The service is upbeat, friendly and very attentive. The space is generous and very clean. Prices are reasonable. The food is too good. We've been back 6 times in the last 3 weeks.

Nothing special. Once you get past the homemade corn tortillas (delicious and obviously homemade) the food is average at best, and service was less than average. I had the Pollo en salsa verde. The description said is was made from thigh meat, the most flavorful cut imo. But the meat seemed like typical dry and stringy breast meat. Unlike MacArthur, I shall not return.
