Waffle House

Okay, you don't go to Waffle House expecting the world. But you often get it. The people are awesome, the food is delicious, it's just good. I'm on a discord server where a couple of us are from the South and some of the others aren't and have never been to a Waffle House. We constantly let them know that they are missing something great. Anthony Bourdain said it best: "It is indeed marvelous-- an irony-free zone where everything is beautiful and nothing hurts; where everybody regardless of race, creed, color or degree of inebriation is welcomed."

We stopped by approx. 12:30 pm. Not too busy. Which was great. Coco Butter was our server. Thank you. The Baba had a waffle with sausage. She gave thumps up. I had an everything omelet that was one of the lightest, fluffy omelets I have ever had. Wesley was the cook and he gets 2 thumbs up. We will be back.

This location is good. It's one of the cleanest I've been to. Waffle house has cut down their menu a little over time but what they have is still good. They are constantly a little understaffed and can get slow, but the employees are friendly and have always been attentive if you just get their attention. I haven't had a bad plate of food here since they opened.

03/06/22. Went in had to wait 20 minutes for them to clean the grill. That was cool, I prefer to eat from clean grills! Young man took our drink order, came back 5 minutes later, asked if we were ready to order drinks! When we finally got the drinks, the cups were dirty, with stuff floating in the drinks. Asked for paper cups. Food came before the drinks, grits were cold toast was burned. Drinks came, I asked for an extra for an extra cup of ice, because the tea was freshly brewed, so it was hot. When I poured the tea into the ice there was food in the bottom of the cup from which I had poured the tea!!! Unacceptable! I was served dirty drinks twice in one visit!!! That's not even to mention having to wait ten minutes for syrup as my waffle got cold! Having to ask several times for other condiments! It's sad, the last time we were here the food and the service were both excellent!! Not anymore!!!!

Food was good, service was awkward and not thorough. I went in to place a takeout order. I ordered the cheesesteak melt plate, vanilla sprite, a cup of pickles and condiments... got back only received the plate, had to reask for the condiments and pickles and didn't receive my drink. I had to work with 3 different people.. the person who took my order handed my ticket off to somebody else and when that somebody else gave me my change back she shoved it in my hands. While I'm waiting for my condiments the orginal waiter walks up and says something must not be right with the order? Umm yeah you half placed my order and I didn't receive everything I asked for...
