Pho Ha Noi

Probably the best pho you can get in Gainesville. The broth was decent, but the thin slices of rare beef were not rare by the time the bowl arrived to the table. Bun bowl was ok, but the egg rolls were a little burnt. The bahn mi was smaller than what I expected and not too impressive, probably won't get it again. The crispy chicken wings were dry. About the only thing I would order again is the pho. Service was friendly and we didn't wait long for food. Prices are reasonable.

This was the worst dining experience I’ve had in a long time. Between 4 adults, ordered 8 banh mi sandwiches which were tiny, had the thinnest slice (just one ☝🏽!) of meat inside each + massive chunks of jalapeños and were mostly just bread, the dumplings were soggy and a few didn’t even have any stuffing in them! We also ordered 3x Vietnamese nems which are supposed to be fried, and are served with lettuce and mint leaves but they gave us 6 summer rolls instead (clear wrapped rolls with shrimp). Should have known when a white guy came out the back to take the order—not nice but it’s true lol.

Winter is coming on so it’s pho season! I came here with my girlfriend and we split a bowl of pho. The broth itself was more tasteful than many other pho places i’ve tried around Gainesville, but the meat/ toppings were stingier than other places I’ve tried as well. We got a quarter of 1 meatball in the large bowl! Service was a little slow but still manageable. Would recommend it for good pho!

Waste of money. I know there are not a lot of pho options in Gainesville, but I really regret even giving this place a try. I am definitely not going back here, and I will not recommend this place to anyone I know. 1) Cleanliness Walking in the store, there's a strong smell of old oil and unclean kitchen. While waiting to be seated, I could see part of the kitchen, where Kitchen staffs were preparing to-go foods with bear hands.. Just overall, the kitchen, seating area, did not look very clean, and also the tables were a bit sticky. 2) Customer service The signs says 'wait here to be seated', but no one was there. I was standing at the door for 5 minutes, but when a waitress comes out form the back, she goes "Just seat wherever you want". I wonder why I had to wait there standing for 5 minutes. Also, the waitress would touch the food with her bare hands when she was bringing plates out saying something looks weird... In the COVID world especially, it was very unsanitary. Waitress would drop off the check 5 minutes after we started eating and goes 'no rush at all'. Given that I had just started eating, I did not put my card on the check. maybe 10 minutes later, waitress comes to my table again and pressures that I make the payment quickly.. 3) Taste / price/ portion Very small portion for a $12 a bowl. And the noodles were cooked so long ago that I had to shake them for a while before I could even lift the noodles up. And the overall portion was so small. I got a beef pho, and I counted, there were 5 small pieces of sliced beef, and a little bit of noodles. There weren't that much of green onions either. But I guess the portion didn't matter after all because it tasted not so good (and unsanitary that I maybe had 20% of the food only)

Nothing exciting, great when you have a taste for Pho. Don't get me wrong I ate it, but there was no umami. The fries dumplings were good, in the smaller side. The samosas were flavorful but tiny. I ordered the regular combo Pho, but I found very little tendon(my fav part). Also had combo fried rice and chicken and beef were flavorless and dry. Again not a bad restaurant and we did eat the food and enjoyed the atmosphere Heck I'm just happy to be outside. Pics are of finished product
