Ihop

I’ve not been to an IHOP in over 10 years, visited this one near downtown Fresno, greeted right away, seated by looked like to be the Manager, very friendly, personable and got me started. Server Efrin was right there getting my drink order and asking if I had any questions, ordered the BLTA and did not wait long for it to arrive. After a short bit Efrin was back checking on me and making sure I was satisfied. The Bacon on the sandwich was cooked perfectly and the onion rings were were not burnt to a crisp but right amount of crunch with actual onion inside. Great experience at this location and most definitely will be back. Thanks to your staff and crew.

I'm really mixed about this place. It's generally very quiet and peaceful in this restaurant, not in a great part of town, but close enough to the train station to make a meal convenient there. You will see homeless people doing very odd things on your way there though. The restaurant can't help that. It's clean inside, and the food comes quickly. I have been here two times, so I am not an expert on this location since, in a scientific sense, I don't have enough "data." But upon this second visit, I had trouble getting the server to come back and check enough (we needed extra butter and more napkins), as she was discussing something about the schedule with someone near the kitchen. Also, I wouldn't call the servers "friendly" as they are not that, nor smiley much, but they are cordial enough. I'd say, because of the lack of traffic, there is just something missing at this restaurant in terms of a welcoming feeling. For someone who just wants to get in and out, it will deliver. But beyond that, there may be some work to be done in terms of the corporation/head of franchise maybe doing a little more customer service training. It's why I'm on the fence with this location. I'm going to try some others in the area next time I'm up there and compare with this one.

This I believe to be one of the older I-Hops in Fresno but, I think that speaks for itself cause, it wouldn't still be there if it were that bad. Correct??? The cooks here are limited to what's on the Menu but, in my opinion even a scrambled egg has to be cooked correctly In order to be enjoyed so, the rest of the menu. I give this location a 3 star score for now. I will return soon so that I may compare Cook ability. The Hosts are very friendly and deserve a fair tip as they are forced to carry out all the weight of these great deals we as customers are enjoying. Drop in and please let me know if I'm wrong. I don't know what is going on with all the hair! I ordered a takeout breakfast not too long ago. There was a long black hair on the top of my over medium eggs. It was super noticeable, there is no way they didn't see that! In the container that held my French toast, there was another long black hair. So to recap, two long black hairs in two separate containers in the same order. They are only getting two stars instead of one because they had my order ready in a very timely manner and ordering online was very convenient. Too bad I couldn't enjoy the food.
