Raider Restaurant

My boyfriend Tim and I aren't from Freeport, we rented a cabin in the area for the weekend. We ate at Raiders one afternoon and enjoyed it so much that we went back for breakfast before heading back home. We really enjoyed the great food with that home-cooked touch. We were served perfectly cooked, large portions. The staff is very friendly and care about their customers, greeting each as they entered, checking back and asking how our meal was, and saying goodbye with well wishes. Special thanks going out to Colt for putting up with us as we acted silly at the counter! We will definitely be returning! Thanks again for the great experience Raiders!

Stumbled across this nice place as we were traveling the back roads. The owner was awesome. My husband is handicapped and she and the staff went out of her way to accommodate him. Which was greatly appreciated. Now the food. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries and a beer my husband a BLT onion rings and a drink. Food was very good. Then we got a slice of carrot cake to go. The piece was enough for 2. But luckily my husband don’t like carrot cake so I had it all to myself. It was definitely homemade and one for the best I had. I would highly recommend this place.

We had burgers and ff. Burgers were definitely not your typical frozen patties, fries were fresh cut.Both were excellent 🙂 we definitely will be back. Place is clean and bright, service was excellent and staff was friendly. Not a huge menu which was refreshing and prices were good. Down in Harrison Co, Ohio. So glad this place has survived the pandemic. We most certainly will return!
