Terrible food and service. Kids meal chicken strips came out burnt and staff still put it in my table. A good server would have clearly seen it and asked for a redo and it never would have even been seen by me. I specifically asked if the Rubens were grilled like a grilled cheese or put on toasted bread. Insisted it was grilled so we ordered it. Toasted bread and the one thin strip of corn beef had been grilled so much it was rubber and crispy. Just terrible. When I told the server we were met with a blank stare. Took nothing off the bill. Never checked on us and didn’t even acknowledge we were leaving. It wasn’t busy, we were the only ones in the shop. TERRIBLE. How can I give a -1 star, 1 star is too high a rating for this place. Terrible terrible food!!! After reading the response from the business. I had to edit to respond to it. I am POSITIVE where I was, I was at your place of business and my sandwich looked nothing like what you have pictured. It was a single slice of corn beef grilled to rubbery perfection, while the bread was not grilled but simply and lazily toasted. IT WAS TERRIBLE! Your waitress did not even come back to the table after I told her the chicken tenders/nuggets where burnt. No refills, not even a good bye when we left. My money was not well spent but felt like I was robbed due to this being so bad. We left hungry and angry.

It's an alright spot. There are two level to the bar with an outside patio. Needs some love and attention. Worn down but that maybe intentional for the look? The crowd is... colorful from all spectrums. Drinks are alright depending on the bartender the cocktails proportions aren't that great. Personal preference though. It has billard tables as well to play.

Yesterday was my first time eating here and it definitely won't be the last! I travel a lot, eat at a lot of places, try a lot of food and have to tell you that the food here was amazing, best of its kind and overall my favorite bite in the Fredericksburg area so far. I ordered the Patriot Burger & it was every bit as good as any burger we've had anywhere and we've been everywhere! DELICIOUS! BEST we have had in a long long time. Burgers were juicy, flavorful with no fillers, toppings were fresh and everything seasoned perfectly and the buns were lightly toasted on the inside only, giving it a delicious soft outside then crispy interior before getting to the meat and veggies... amazing! Look beautiful as well! Almost too pretty to eat! I cannot overstate how pleased my wife & I were with their burgers. Fries were seasoned perfectly and served at the perfect temp! Deliciously crispy on the outside & perfect texture on the inside, not too thick or skinny, had a melt in your mouth feel to them. Their southwestern egg rolls are also a MUST TRY! You will not be disappointed with the hearty serving and amazing taste! My wife thought the southwestern sauce on them had a little kick (she's not into spicy items) but still gobbled them up. If you don't like spicy (honestly not very spicy at all... just in case you are like my wife and like absolutely zero heat) try the rolls with ranch instead. VERY GOOD either way. Service was prompt, friendly, personable and high quality. Really enjoyed interacting with them. We were surprised at the prices! The prices are low given the high quality and the prices of all other options in the area. About 1/3 the price but much better quality! As for asthetics... It's definitely a dive bar asathetic. We were there right at 5pm on a Monday and it was pretty quiet so I can't speak for normal crowds but It could use a little aesthetic refreshing. The place had a slight smell of cigarette smoke when we were there, not strong, could have even been from a nearby source not inside the restaurant. I'm pretty sensitive to cigarette smoke and could definitely detect it but it wasn't strong enough to bother me. Food is available for take out. Took about 12-15 minutes after we ordered to get our food, we used that time to visit a nearby antique shop. They've been there for 30 years, surprises me that I had never noticed it before. Now that I know about it, I'll be spreading the word and visiting with friends!

This place was just ok. The tables were clean and setup for service, just no one was there. The cook/server was the only one downstairs (assuming the other server was upstairs in the bar) and I had to ring a bell to get someone to "know" that we came in. After we ordered the food it took over an hour to get it. When you have children this is just obnoxious and problematic because they don't have patience. In any normal occasion I would 100% understand a wait. But...THERE WAS NO ONE BUT US IN THERE. I will acknowledge that we were a decent size family of 7 but that doesn't give reason to being so slow to get our food. In the end, our food was just ok. My wife did say her sandwich was good, but the rest of us felt the food was again just ok. I keep saying ok because honestly the food isn't anything to rave about and the overall experience was nothing special but also not the best. The reality of this place hit us as we left and realized that not a single other person came in to the restaurant for the almost 1hr and 45 min we spent there. Not a single one on a holiday at 3 in the afternoon... Not a one. I feel your money would be better spent at some other place and I know that we will most likely never go back when we come to Fredrikburg again.

Theresa was are waitress and she bent over backwards to make sure the service was great. I ordered a steak and cheese sub with fries and they made fresh Mac n cheese for my daughter, which she loved. The food tasted good and the service was excellent. The food had generous portions. We enjoyed it thoroughly. We will go back.

This is really a hidden gem of Fredericksburg. The prices are very low for restaurants in Fredericksburg and the portions are very generous. The waitress was very attentive, even as they started to get busy. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quick bite and some amazing food. The Gyro was delicious!
