Yobubble

I am sick today and didn’t feel like cooking. I didn’t know about this place and ran across it on GrubHub. I called the restaurant ahead of time to ask if they could make a bubble tea without milk… Many places will say no because it all comes together in a mix, but the owner answered and said he would be happy to do it, just to make note of it on the order. He even called back to make sure he had it right, and made me a special green tea with honey and lemon. :) Food was really good too! Will definitely be back!

The boba is good and the employees were very kind, but the temperature inside is way too hot for the summertime. I’ve been in two times in the past week or so and both times the workers I saw were clearly overheated and sweating. These aren’t humane working conditions for the employees, and no customer wants to enjoy their food inside a restaurant that’s warmer than the outside of the store. Please turn on your air conditioning!

Place looks clean and decent, but the restaurant would not turn on heat in winter. It was super cold inside (not much difference from outside). Only realized that after placing orders to dine in. Asked the waitresses, they were super nice and had no control over the temperature setting. Poor girls had to work in such environment. I asked the girls to pack my food so I can eat them at home. It’s such a bummer for a Saturday night food outing. Don’t think I will go back there (well at least during winter)

I like this place. The bubble tea is always great. However, I had a craving for pho this evening. We got there at 8:20 and they had already closed the kitchen. Just be on notice: they close the kitchen 45 minutes before closing at 9:00 pm. 9/16/19 - arrived at 6:00 pm. 😁 really good chicken pho! My daughter had the beef stew pho...she said it was delicious! I'll second that too. The roast beef pho is amazing. Back to 5 stars. 😆 2/10/22 Advertised they open at 11:30 am. I've been sitting here waiting. It's now 11:46 and not a person in sight. The place is locked up.

I did not review this place the first time, I wanted to try it at least 1 more time before I would write a negative review. You say why try it again if you did not like it the first time? Mainly because I absolutely love bubble tea and there are not many options around. Hey, and maybe they were having a one off/a bad day the first time I tried them. However, both occasions my bubble tea tasted like water, the service was awful, and this time the powder was chunked at the bottom so much that I wasn’t able to even shake it vigorously to break it up. Last, but not least the tapioca was very little. I originally asked for black tea with bubbles, but they did not have it and suggested green tea. Well, I’ve never tried the green tea option and it did not agree with my taste palate. I asked for my drink to be remade with milk to try it that way and I just got everything slapped in a cup and horrible customer service. Disappointed with the drink, won’t drink it, and still got charged.
