Casa Rico

Food was good and so was service, we ordered margarita chicken and california chicken burrito with margarita (the ultimate) and Corona in drinks. Everything we ordere was good, but 3 star is because they started cleaning the floor when we were eating food and it started smelling all cleaning supplies, they could have waited till all guest leave but they cared less it seems. I would definitely visit again to just for food.

I got a fajita taco salad and it didn't have any refried beans in it, which made it a little on the dry side. But the shrimp, peppers and onions were still good. The chips here were a little thinner and the salsa was chunky which I like. But the queso was pretty bland. Our server didn't check in on us or ask if we needed anything. There are so many good Mexican restaurants these days that it's the little things that can make a big difference. Our server did not check in with us to see if we needed anything. He certainly didn't seem like he was enjoying his job. I'm sure it's a tough gig. At the end of the day it's really up to you but I think your money is better spent elsewhere

Let's play a game..can u spot the mold? Service could have been quicker/more attentive. Other food was hot and tasty. Thankful I did not get anything else with cheese except the taco. Iced tea tasted off. Churro tasted of corn tortillas and flan was tough around the edges.Was $50 total including a small tip.Prob. Will not be going back which is a shame. First time here and was super excited to try it out!

I can't say enough good things about Casa Rico on Rt 40 in Frederick, MD! The food is some of the best Mexican fare I've had the pleasure to eat. The steak fajita was flavored very well and was tender and juicy. Hubby enjoyed his tacos and burrito too. Our server, Raj was also wonderful. He was friendly, fast and took care of our every need. Even the bathroom was super clean with nice hot water out of the faucet! I've eaten at other popular Mexican restaurants in Frederick and this one has surpassed them all. Thank you to all at Casa Rico!

I don’t review places often at all. This place inspired me to leave one. First of all queso has a ground beans consistency which makes it inedible even for small children with undeveloped taste buds. I knew when I walked into this place something may be off and should have listened to my instincts. The nachos are a disaster and the steak fajitas were not seasoned like Mexican food and some pieces were so chewy I couldn’t even cut them. My carnivorous kids that can destroy steaks and chickens and live for fajitas became vegetarian in one meal. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Casa Rico is casa terible go to chipotle Taco Bell anywhere else save your taste buds and your wallet some money.

It was clean pretty relaxed atmosphere not crowded. The waitress was helpful and curious but I didn't really like what I got😔maybe I just picked the wrong thing and cousin loves it there we shared a fried ice cream strawberry 🍓 and that was really good. I would definitely go again and try something different. I ate but it just wasn't my favorite.

We stopped here for dinner tonight! They had a sign that said they were short handed and it lease be patient, but our server Hina was amazing and everything came to our table quickly. The salsa is really good, chips fresh, thin & crispy, and the queso just right! I ordered the Baja Fish Tacos (good flavor and spice) and my hubby had the Steak and Chicken Fajitas. We both really liked our meal!
