Best sit down sushi restaurant in Frederick! Their basic rolls are fantastic and they always have fun specials. Only downside is they don't have very good cocktails here, but everything else is great.

Another downtown gem! Walked in after another restaurant had issues opening and was seated right away. Calamari appetizer was wonderful - well prepared with a couple different doing sauces. Lemongrass pork and Godzilla roll were tasty. We'll be back!

Lazy Fish is one of my favorite sushi restaurants. Every roll that I've had is fresh and delicious. The most recent visit, the service was excellent and the waiter made sure to recommend good rolls and check on us often even though it was a busy Friday night. I would recommend calling ahead to get a table on a busy weekend, as every time I've come on a Friday or Saturday around dinner there is a wait for a table. The tables downstairs can get crowded with people quickly, and it makes it feel as if it's difficult to have a private space.

Mt Fuji is one of the best rolls for those that don't like to eat completely raw sushi. The sake was delicious and the manager ALWAYS has a pleasant demeanor and gives the best recommendations.

The place is super cute and the service is excellent! The sushi is heavy on the rice and there aren't a lot of rolls that feature raw fish. The rainbow roll had real crab inside instead of crabsticks, which I loved. The fish is just ok. the kimchi dumplings appetizer was great!

This restaurant has a cool atmosphere. It was pretty busy on a Monday evening, we got there just before the big rush. The sushi we got was really fresh and unique. The house salads are a nice size enough for an entree if you get an appetizer as well. Our sever was really nice!

Great dinner. Good service. Fast seating. Decent drinks. Interesting restaurant setup being stacked floor by floor. Parking deck at the public library right out back. Haven't found a decent sushi/Japanese place since covid hit. Would recommend for a night out.

Though we had to wait a little bit, it is well worth any wait. I do recommend getting a reservation, though, so you don't have to wait to get any of the amazing food! I had the Lazy Roll and the Lazy Rainbow, and both were some of the best sushi I've had in a long time. Our server was super attentive and friendly and made sure our drinks were always topped off. It is a bit small, so keep that in mind if you are bringing a huge group, though I'm sure they'd accommodate! Absolutely love it and will be coming back.
