Wendy's

I'm not opposed to being baked at work, as long as you can still do your job. However, if someone tells you they only want "ketchup, mustard, lettuce, and onion" and you can't even repeat it back to them after hearing it ten times and making two triple sandwiches wrong, you may want to rethink your career path. I picked up lunch for my daughter and I yesterday, and after going through the drive through twice and then waiting for them to remake my sandwich twice, by the time my daughter got her food it was cold. Fast food is ruined by people who can't even keep fast food fast. Phenomenal business systems have become occupied by people who cannot seem to muster enough technical expertise to assemble a burger made to order. Let's forget for a moment that the public schools have failed them, and they can't count change. Let's forget that the systems are designed so that hormonal teenagers will still have the attention span to work them effectively. And let us also discount the fact that many fast food places have barriers to employment so low that a snail could slide its way over the bar. My estimation remains that there is honor in all gainful employment, and that everyone, in every line of work, must learn the most basic task of all, which is how to follow instructions. It is THE fundamental prerequisite for all gainful employment. If you have reached your teenage years and can't make a sandwich to order, your culture has failed you. Our entire society has failed you. But most of all, you have failed yourself. You have not looked around and noticed that everywhere you look, no matter the industry or profession, the people who get paid are the people who follow instructions. The people who empty trash receptacles, the people who prepare legal briefs, the people who build space shuttles and airplanes are all following instructions. If you can't follow instructions, please do not run that Wendy's into bankruptcy and put your coworkers out of a job. Please, go get some help following the instructions to fill out the forms at the welfare office, and leave the dignity of gainful employment for people who care enough to learn the most universal basic skill of life.

Ordered 3 drinks. Was given drinks loose. Asked for a carrier, guy walked away. 15 mins later after one drink spilled in my car while waiting, I got my food and had to ask again for a carrier and for a replacement drink. Left only to find that the whopper meal I ordered wasn't in the bag. I was given a spicy chicken sandwich instead. Didn't even go back to have them fix it.

I really hope this location has a complete flip in employees and management because as a high volume retail employee myself, I do not understand how these people have a job/have not been fired. The bar obviously must not be very high at this location. Were really rude and short from the start. Waited roughly 20 minutes for food and we had wrong items and were also missing items not reflecting what we paid. Pulled around to get the items we paid for and they were still really rude despite them being at fault. Food was cold, messy, and still incorrect despite pulling around twice. I truly hope their District and/or Regional Manager is aware of the current state of this location, it’s honestly just embarrassing.

This place just gets worse and worse. This time I ordered one sandwich that's it! Can't be that complicated! Spoke too soon they gave me some random sandwich and I was their only customer to top it off!!! I tried to go inside to get this fixed and the lobby was locked??? It was only 5:30pm and there was atleast 4 employees at the drive through.... Went back through the drive through just to get a luke warm burger that looked very old with burnt onions!! Disgusting! I gave up and will not return to this joke store! Southtown plaza is ruined with nothing but lazy and careless workers!!!!

Very strange Wendy's. All of the lights on the outside of the building were off, including the lights on the menu. The person taking orders in the drivethrough was hard to communicate with. The food was good (I got the southwest avacado salad), but the restaurant was very odd. Would not eat here again.

4 years ago, I gave Wendy's 4 ⭐ , but Now. The one in Southtown Crossing here in Fort Wayne Indiana, (store #3067) is lucky to get 1 ⭐ in my review. The staff is some of the rudest I've ever experienced. Tonight, daughter inlaw was ordering food in drive thru for four of us. The guy takng orders said they're only taking small orders tonight. REALLY?? She was not done placing orders and he gave her total and told her to pull up, she interrupted him as she needed more food ordered. He yelled and told her he Already Said Small Orders Only!! My husband has gotten a sour taste with this location as well. I felt its time for "Hopefully, The Franchisee " to see my review and make appropriate changes, either in staffing or attitudes of those collecting a pay check, and their rudeness. The evening shift workers need to be let go or trained to treat customers correctly.

Worst customer service of all time, dumba$$ lady had me pull over to the front door after I was done paying which was okay I figured it’s because they might have more cars coming through. My order was only 2 Crispy Chicken BLT sandwiches THATS IT! and had me waiting outside for half an hour… I was fed up and decided to pull up to the front window. I proceeded to tell the gentleman that I’ve been outside for about 30 minutes now waiting for my order to be brought out to me which he proceeded to ask the dumba$$ lady where my order was. The whole time the dumba$$ had it sitting on a shelf or whatever they sit the orders on the whole time. The food was now cold and I did not enjoy the meal what so ever. I will never come back to this Wendy’s ever again and I pray they get a better management system soon because this place is starting to become like Burger King on South Gate Plaza.
