Metro Deli & Cafe

Is a simple concept of a local business that do their things really good. I found this place by chance a few days ago, looking for a fresh lunch option. I was happy that it wasn't a food chain, the atmosphere is really quiet, and the attention is good, they explain the food to you.... What I liked the most was the tomato biscuit soup, and I accompanied it with a sandwich, which They may be better, but the truth is they are good, with ingredients that feel very fresh, and generous in size. the waiting time once the order is done is around 4-5 minutes for this order, which seemed fast to me, and even more so because it was lunch time. I have felt very comfortable.

This was my first time dining at Metro Deli and Cafe, I had lunch with colleagues of mine and we all got the egg salad sandwiches 🥪. We were helped by the owner Carol. I know egg salad is something very simple but the sandwiches were very good and had high quality bread and came with a side item. We will definitely be back to this hidden gem.

This is a little hidden gem on Metro Parkway! I discovered it after finding the beef jerky store next door. My boyfriend and I went there for lunch and we each ordered a turkey club. It was the best turkey club I’ve had in the area! Also, the coleslaw was amazing. They are more than generous with their meat on sandwiches and the inside is just the cutest. There’s a wide selection of drinks, too (which you normally don’t find at a local deli). I loved the food so much I’m having them cater my company’s holiday lunch! I will definitely be back.

I get the biscuits gravy and eggs special as often as possible! The gravy has plenty of real sausage chunks and is my favorite kind. Other places in town are thinner, less flavorful, and don't have sausage like metro does. I might have to watch how much I have it though, because the portion is super generous and my belly may grow more!
