Zeus

This is hands down the best chicken shawarma! The combination plate gives you the option to try a little of everything Zeus salad- hummus- and gyro meat! It is my favorite! The staff is always friendly and the service is great! For unique and authentic flavors you have to try it! Don't forget to try the fried kibbeh - you will not be disappointed!

First: I Love the customer service!! What a ray of sunshine the young lady taking orders and working the register is. Second: the Falafel sandwich is amazing!! And forewarning, if you get the fries, they are spicy!! Really good, but be prepared for the heat. This is my first trip to Jackson (or Pearl) MS, but I will definitely be back if I am in the area again.

Shawarma was a bit bland and was more akin to roasted chicken with some seasonings. Gyro was good, and their hummus was better than most. The babaganush was more like a smokey dip and not in keeping with any I've had before - not bad, just not authentic. We got carry out, but if dining in, expect a feel of a gas station restaurant, because that's what it's attached to. Their prices were more than you would expect for what you get portion-wise and are different from the prices I found from photos of their menu on menu sites (they don't have their own site). Expect $13 and up for each meal rather than the $9 you see online.

Clean, friendly staff, vegan options, substitutions, and accommodations. Great hummus, baba ganoush, and falafel sandwiches. Definitely want to go back to try the vegetarian grape leafs. My only complaints would be that it's a bit pricey and they're sadly under staffed. Great spot for something different though. Recommended vegan stop.

Fast food Mediterranean restaurant. It is connected to the same building as the gas station. Large seating area, fast food ambiance and had a frozen yogurt section in there. Staff is friendly and welcoming and the place is clean. I tried the vegetarian grape leaves which came on a small bed of lettuce, served with lemon, tomatoes and a yogurt sauce. It was fairly tasty and portion sizes are good for the price points. Also tried the falafel plate. The falafels were delicious and very well seasoned and served with tahini sauce, salad and hummus. I got a side of rice. Pleasantly surprised and definately would come back here again.
