Shipley Donuts

Very friendly staff and quick service, even during my 'high traffic' stop on Sunday morning. Only needed four donuts but was convinced by the cashier to round up to a half dozen for a few cents more... great salesmanship! Inside was very clean, much more modern than my usual store. Lots of space to sit down and enjoy your food. Not often this far south so I'll take Shipley's whenever I can get it, and this was above the rest.

Glad that they have a Shipley' donut on this side of town now. I'm not huge on sweets so I usually get their kolaches and occasionally but very rarely get donuts. Their kolaches is better than most of the places I've had around here. Their dozen glazed are about $7.50 - $8. Anything other than that, it's considered a specialty donut and will cost you double the price and more for a dozen. Kind of a ridiculous price for donuts. I'm not going to pay $20 for a dozen donuts, never have in my life and never will.

Shipley's is my favorite donut place around and I was super excited when they opened up near me. Their donuts aren't ultra sweet where if you bite into one, you won't get instant diabetes. The dough isn't too light where you can flatten it super small and it's all sugar. The eclairs are AMAZING and so are the donuts with chocolate, strawberry, etc. They don't glaze the whole donut then dip the top but only the top's dipped which is the perfect amount of sweetness to compliment the doughnut. The staff is nice too and they deliver speedy service. Shipley's is better than big chains <3
