Crawfish Shack

I got me some crawfish today from The Crawfish Shack of Florence, it's the first time in over 3 years. The last time I did get crawfish was from The Crawfish Shack of Florence. I just gotta say, i was welcomed when i walked through the door with a smile and greeted and then greeted again by someone else less than 1 minute later. I was asked whether or not i wanted regular or spicy, (which usually isn't a choice in most places), I got spicy of course, and let me tell you!! I was completely impressed and satisfied with the crawfish! I read a google review knocking this place for straight tailed and bad tasting crawfish, now usually you will see 1 or 2 per pound, I had not even ONE! They were great crawfish, friendly service, and I will definitely be recommending The Crawfish Shack of Florence to everyone! Thank y'all for a great and satisfying experience...I'll definitely be back! 😎 👏 by the way, the restaurant inside is super clean and very nice, very impressive for sure!

Wow. Hard to put my experience into words. I've had one of the best crawfish experience that I've had in my life here. I'll try to stop by here when I'm driving through the area again. These guys are monster size, perfectly seasoned, and perfectly cooked. I've grown up eating crawfish and it's one of my favorites but these put my past experiences to shame. When you're eating here it'll make sure curse, it's that good. The staff is super friendly and though we stayed 30 minutes after closing time, we never once felt rushed. They let me eat my 20 lbs of crawfish in peace. The only suggestion for this place is that if they had draft beer.

The crawfish were the worst I have ever eaten. We ordered 5lbs and probably 1/4 had straight tails, which I've always known to be dead before cooked, so we didn't eat those. Another 1/4 or more tasted sour and metallic. A lot of them didn't even have tails to go with the heads. The shrimp plates and sides were good. I would definitely not recommend these crawfish. The only reason I ate them is because my girlfriend paid $100 for our dinner and she didn't want me to speak up. Plus, all of them were small. Will not be going back.

Needs more seasoning and lady taking orders was not friendly. Didn’t ask if we wanted any sauces or butter. My wife asked for cocktail sauce and got it. We didn’t know you had to ask for butter until we saw it behind the counter when leaving. Stated I didn’t know it was available and just got a snarky response from the same unfriendly cashier. We won’t be back. Also food was barely warm.

Whatever you order, you get it in no time. For my experience, they added a little extra potatoes, corn on the cob, and sausage during the many times I ordered the perfectly seasoned crawfish. The staff is very generous and super friendly. They also have a wide array of spices and more that you can buy when you go to pick up your order. You can dine in, if you so wish.
