Cafe Piccolo

We had lunch a few weeks ago in this restaurant. First of all, I would like to mention how kind and gentle were the two people that served us, a young man and a young lady. What a great service and people. The food was really nice with a rich menu to select from. The deserts are homemade and just amazing!

We’ve had a fantastic evening there. Friendly staff, tasty high quality big portion foods. Beautiful, peaceful and exciting atmosphere. High quality/standard service despite the busy schedule. It seemed to us all of these come under an organised, responsible and caring owner/manager. %100 will go back. Strongly recommended. Keep going. Thanks Dariush.

Nice setting. It has been quite a while since we visited this Italian restaurant. It's got a great range of choices on the menu - all the sort of dishes you'd expect. The wine list looked slightly limited. The one thing I'd like is some air conditioning as I found the upstairs area too hot for comfort. Will go back again and ask to sit on the mezzanine or ground floor. It was certainly worth a visit, and it looked very popular.

My partner & I went here last night! The starter 'bastoncini dorati' was delicious! The crispy bread crumbs were spot on around the fresh juicy king prawn! Straight away our taste buds were tingling! Then came the mains. My partner had a rib eye which was recommended to have medium! It was cooked to perfection & the gorgonzola sauce was lovely with it! I had the spaghetti con polpette! It was delicious again! The spicy tomato sauce tasted so fresh with just the right amount of spice! The meatballs were fat & tasted great too it was like being back in Italy! Next came the puddings! My partner had bannoffe pie & I had the Tiramisu! Both looked incredible when they arrived! My partner said hers tasted great & my tiramisu was honestly the best I've ever had! It was so light, fluffy & just the right flavours! The staff were also very friendly without being overbearing & offered advice on the dishes. The decor & the building is very nice too! I especially liked the little piece on the back of the menu which gave the history of the building which was a nice touch! We will 100% be back in the future & it will be my new go to when friends & family visit! Thank you

We came from London to visit our friends. They recommended having lunch at Caffe Piccolo. The restaurant has lovely decorations with a positive vibe. The owner came to welcome us and gave us a table upstairs. He gave us some information about the building's history. All the foods are made fresh. The taste was one of the best Italian I have tried. The lady who served us was very nice and friendly. The Lasagna was fabulous. My wife tried Chicken Pasta, but she asked to have tomato-based sauce instead of the usual creamy sauce. It was delicious. We would surely visit this place regularly if we were living locally. And if you live locally, you should try this place.

Overall, a really excellent place that provides an excellent experience. That staff were really good, very attentive and polite having no trouble taking care of our large group. The food was decent, although I felt it didn't quite live up to expectations with the deep fried goats cheese and spaghetti bolognese both being a little bland! The potions sizes were good. I'd would recommend here for its good value for money and great service
