Wild Salsa

I'm giving it 5 stars because I want it too succeed. Food and drinks are absolutely delicious. I was a big time regular before they closed for two years. My only issue is the slow roll out. Few hours and no happy hour is a bummer. Bar used to be full during wild hour and most stayed longer after specials ended. If you don't promote the place and do happy hour you won't last on that side of the street. Blonde mrg. Treated me and my buddy nice last week. Wish Reuben was still there

I went there for my birthday and ordered the shank lamb. The lamb was too greasy for me and the side portion was small. The menu items are a bit pricey, my lamb was $25 and it was supposed to be accompanied with vegetables. When my food was delivered there was no vegetables so the waitress offered to get me some on the side. The atmosphere was super inviting and the waitress (Mary) was phenomenal. She was very attentive and I got a complimentary dessert since it was my birthday.

A solid 3, but I had higher expectations. I really like the vibe of this place, and really like their cocktails! Presentation was nice too. Appetiser was tasty, service was great but it kinda had a slow decline after that. The main meals were unexpected. The sauce with the chicken enchiladas was sweet and didn’t match the dish at all. Our waiter brought additional sauce to help take the sweetness away. It helped a little, but I had to do a lot of scraping before eating. If you like sweet, you will like the dish! Desserts were okei - We were let down. The flan texture was way off (yes I know the difference between regular flan and Mexican flan) and the churro was over cooked. Did I say the drinks and appetisers were great?? 🤪🤪🤪 Unsure if I will try again :(

Fabulous place. The food is very fresh and unique. An eclectic take on Tex Mex. The waiter was awesome. They have a flan to die for. UPDATE Second visit - while they were very busy - The food wasn't hot. The flavors were good. We ordered the flan and it wasnt like the flan we had before.. The one before, it almost resembled a cheesecake. This time around it was good, but nothing special like it was before. It was of the standard height, and had the normal kind of texture and consistency of what you would get most anywhere else. Somehow the special flan we had before is gone . Lowering the review rating a bit.

I really love the food flavors here. Especially the green salsa! I normally don't like green salsa...but this salsa is a game changer! Mom got a mixed plate of Tacos, shrimp and steak. She said they were delicious, but I will admit they are the small style tacos. If you are looking for a feast, the tacos may not be for you. I got Veggie Fajitas. They we're delicious. Plant-based win! 🌱 And there were plenty of grilled portobello mushrooms, onions, peppers, and potatoes to pile into my corn tortillas. Oh, and we got a few frozen margaritas. Mine was the El Flamenco...oh my goodness y'all...so strong! I had to give my mom half just so I could drive home. Final thoughts: (1) Green Salsa = Win. Total win. (2) Margarita (El Flamenco) = So strong. Whoa. Be careful people. (3) Lighting....it's pretty dark in there. I definitely could use a little more light on the table. (4) Food = Delicious! So great food. Food gets a 5. This is what gives it a 4: atmosphere could use a little more light, and then maybe as a recommendation, serve the water before the chips and salsa. Mom was over confident with the salsa before the water came.
