Used to be good but lately the food is just horrible. My dad ordered a two for five one double checker burger and one double fish sandwich. The burgers where sloppy and the fish patties where rock hard. Overcooked and inedible. Really disappointed. He took one bite but couldn't eat it as it was too hard. Its sad. It used to be one of my favorite places.

I love Checkers. I'm from Florida and I miss Checkers fries, burgers and milkshakes. When I found it on my way to Houston. I was shook. Had to have my fix.

Clean travel stop with well stocked store. Choice of three in-store restaurants (only 2 were open) with good food and quick service. The service was fast, but the staff was pretty busy and did not have time to be friendly. We had sandwiches from Dickies BBQ because the line to the Checkers Burgers was about 10 people long
Clean restrooms.
Overall, a clean place to stop for bathroom break and snacks while traveling.

If the burger patties were a bit thicker, then the burger would be superb. I found it without a lot of flavor...too much ketchup.
The fries were okay. I'll try something else next time. I wasn't impressed. They used to have decent food.

We have stopped here a few times. Food is good, location is easy to access off the freeway, the bathrooms are very nice and clean. The season on the fries is so good!

Stopped through here to grab some fries for the kids. They cooked up a fresh batch for them. It’s connected to a gas station and was super clean with very clean and nice bathrooms.

Food is great but the service lacks - just stood in front of the guy working for 5 minutes with my family for him to ignore us for the drive thru - didn’t great us and even avoided looking directly at us.
Then we decide to go to the drive thru and get told to hold, and once we get to put in our order we are told to drive and park - 10 minutes later still waiting on two burgers and two chicken + fry baskets.
If you can’t hire a staff don’t open the restaurant?
