This one is okay. There is a private parking lot and the restaurant is pretty clean. We were a party of 15 and they were able to accommodate us which was very nice. The food was ok. But I really do love their chips and salsa! It's a hit every time I come. Everyone almost ordered the same thing, the crab and shrimp enchilada with black beans and rice. But I ordered the steak and shrimp. I was highly disappointed. The steak was dry and my shrimp was a mix of baby shrimp and regular sized shrimp which wasn't supposed to be. It was as if they ran out of the regular sized one and tried to fill it with tiny shrimps. The service not bad. My friend who does not eat meat got a double serving of rice and no black beans. She didn't offer everyone a glass of water. But she was fast and very nice. The ambiance: it was festive inside, and clean. Nothing really to say about the ambiance or atmosphere. So overall experience was 3 stars only because a couple of the orders were said to be really good and they were able to accommodate our big party of 15. Haven't been to a Chevy's for years since it closed in our town, so dropped in for lunch in Fairfield. Very clean, including the bathroom. Our lunches were very good. We had chicken fajitas, steak fajitas and vegetable fajitas. All were sizzling hot and came with 4 tortillas.The prices have gone up and I had sticker shock. $20 per person and a surcharge for what I don't know.

I will never eat here again. We had 5 pm reservations for 12 people. We were not seated until 5:20 because our table wasn't set up. It took an hour to get the first round of drinks for everyone. Our first 4 meals showed up 45 minutes after that. 1 was incorrect and had to be sent back. We had not been given any utensils, so they waited 10 minutes for those, by which time their food was cold. It took another 40ish minutes for the other 9 dishes to arrive. They came out 1 or 2 at a time. Another came out incorrect and was never fixed. The last meal came out after everyone else was done eating. Part of that meal was cold and inedible. During this time, we struggled to get refills on drinks. We complained to the manager. Instead of apologies, we got excuses of being short staffed and our food being taken by other servers because the tickets were not being read and monitored correctly. The manager was rude and sarcastic with us. She agreed to compensate us for our experience. When the bill came, her idea of compensation was to leave the items on the bill that we didn't receive and remove $25, which wasn't even 10%. One member of the group spoke to her. $40 more eventually came of. I can tell you, I will never be back to this restaurant.

This place is a hit or miss. Hostess not very welcoming. Staff will walk by if no hostess available and sometimes you are left waiting with no one to acknowledge you. On this night I came with my husband and 4 year old son. A group of about 5 people came in behind us. Even though we got there first, a manager came out offered them water and sat them before we were seated, even though that party let the manager know that we had arrived there first. The manager didn't really seem to care and insisted to seat that party first. We were seated immediately after but it was very off putting that this group of women was seated and given their food before us. Our waitress I believe her name is Alejandra? should be given 5 stars because she is the only reason we had a great experience after. She was friendly and gave us excellent service. Kudos to her for knowing how to treat patrons
