Unique Bakery

This is my favorite bakery. 60+ delicious choices. Scones, cookies, muffins, croissants, cup desserts, cream puffs, unique pastries, and, of course, cakes! I prefer cakes that are rich but not overly sweet which aren't available everywhere, and Unique Bakery has at least two flavors I've tried and loved.

I'm a huge fan of supporting and buying locally owned businesses. This bakery has been here for a long time. The owner/Baker is very friendly. We used to live right across the street and I would come to this shopping center to walk my dog, pick up something to munch on and walk back around. I was in the area to take my dog, Bella, for her check-up and when she was done I decided to go and pick up some desserts for a friend's get together. No one was there when I came in so I took my time looking around. He had a lot of different things and they all looked really good. I decided to pick up some cupcakes- he had three different ones so I decided to try all three and grabbed a dozen. Then I saw something that looked like a cannoli but he told me they were french rolls. I decided to get six of those. Then I saw the beautifully shaped and decorated sugar cookies so I decided to grab a couple dozen of those. Not going to lie- it was a bit expensive but I did get a lot of things. It was a total hit at the party! The kids loved the cookies! They couldn't get enough of them. The adults were fighting over the French rolls so I'm glad I got the cupcakes as well. There wasn't anything left by the time the party was over. They also have a coffee station so it's a one stop shop if you just want to get a scone or cinnamon roll with coffee. I highly recommend!

I purchased my wife's and daughter's birthday cakes from here. In both instances, the owner gladly used my six-year-old daughter's designs for the cakes. They were delicious. His pastries and cookies are awesome. He may have the best coffee cake I've ever tasted. On top of that, he offers a free pastry and coffee for anyone who can't afford it. At times like this, that kind of kind-hearted charity says a whole lot. You can't beat the quality of baked goods, and to top it off, he's just a good guy.

David is a thorough professional. He made a beautiful 3 layer wedding cake for 150 people which was much appreciated by all guests. Pinapple cream at the bottom layer, Black Forest for the middle layer and vanilla for the top layer with gold ribbons and trimming was a smash hit. It was delivered and installed at the venue on time. Job well done, David !!! Cheers. Manny.

It smelled so good going in and the pastries did not disappoint. Bought some the day before Thanksgiving and the baker was very helpful letting us know how to best keep the food since we weren't having it that same day. Devoured the baklava as soon as we got home and saved the rest for the next and it all tasted wonderful still, especially the apple pastries.

My cake was absolutely gorgeous and TOTALLY DELICIOUS. The owner is a very sweet and kind man. He allowed me to bring all my own decorations, at a discount. He always offered me sweets and coffee everytime I checked in with him. EVERYONE at my wedding loved my cake. He decorated it perfectly with the supplies I gave him. And we got so many compliments on how delicious it was. We had the lemon cake with orange filling and the chocolate cake with raspberry fillings, and both were huge hits.
