Mels Diner Restaurant

Classic old school diner with good food and great service. What's not to like? I got the English Breakfast and the food was out fast, nice size portions and very tasty. A great value for the price. The service was excellent and attentive. My coffee cup never got empty, my table was kept cleared of empty plates and such, yet I never felt rushed for a moment. The atmosphere is classic old school diner, you could film a 70s sitcom here. It is CASH ONLY, as I said, old school, but there is an ATM inside. It is VERY convenient to the airport, and WAY cheaper and better than anything that you'll get at the terminal.

Never been to a diner where the waiter and the cook were the same guy. Lol! I was there on a Sunday afternoon. I was the only customer there! The menu is decent and the prices are very reasonable. My Western omlette was quite good! The place needs a better marketing strategy to attract customers cause of the location. Overall it's a good diner.

Do yourself a favor and drive past the diner and Dennys down the road and pull into this place. You will not be sorry. The outside is a bit neglected but once you walk inside you will be pleasantly surprised. It is very clean inside and the staff is extremely friendly. The menu for breakfast is complete and the grilled sticky buns are super yummy!
