We're not locals to the essendon area and drummed up some hunger around midday. I came across Crème Café not far from where we'd parked and made the right decision to check it out. The owner was friendly on arrival and were seated to a table without more than a vax check. The acai smoothie and meals were fantastic, great portion sizes and very well presented. Staff were all friendly and helpful, overall a amazing experience.

We were happy with the food the service was average unfortunately have to order everything yourself by scanning. Unfortunately life has changed with these new restaurants where you got a serve yourself pretty much and you still pay the same price so I'm just having a whinge about that and when we went to have a coffee after our meal they didn't let us know they were closed so we couldn't scan it just shut off itself so we went inside and ordered a coffee and my friends ordered a cake and it took nearly half an hour to get them because they didn't realise we had ordered even though they took the order at the counter and we paid for it so I'm not sure what happened there

A pretty good experience with attentive and friendly staff. They were very accommodating when it came to slight menu changes, which was great. My smashed avo looked fantastic and tasted very nice but didn't really stand out from other places as such. The salmon spaghetti was delicious according to my wife. Not our first time here and we'll be back no doubt.
