Visiting from out of state, bouncer refused to let myself and friends in saying our issued government ids we’re fake. Clearly he has never seen a real NYS id. If you’re a tourist looking to get a drink, I would not recommend going to this establishment.

My first time at Coconut Joe's was very crowded but it was fine because it was the weekend if you have to use the bathroom you might as well wait cuz the longest pretty dang long every time LOL but it was good atmosphere

Its so sad that the EDDC will be shutting Coconut Joes down this year since its such a staple in Erie. With that being said I know Dave will bounce back with another bar next year. Who doesnt love a tiki bar outside though... and if thats not your vibe? There are 3 additional bars inside as well!!

Love the bartenders and owner they are very nice always a great time. On the rare occasion I get to see the band they are awesome as well. Definitely my number 1 spot. Only bad thing is they are closed in the winter!

Fast and friendly bar service. Great live music! Cornhole on the slower days. Great over all vibe, atmosphere, and staff.

This place is surprisingly nice. The outdoor area has a tiki vibe, and it is connected to Revolution, which is more of an upscale venue. I wasn't expecting a nice upstairs lounge area in there, and a dance floor with multiple bar stations inside, connected to another room with additional bartenders. Drinks are cheap too. The mixed drinks when I went varied from $3.50-$5.

A popular place to go drinking and sit outside in the summer. Note that the picture was taken during roar on the shore. Its usually not as crowded

Really fun outdoor bar!! We were down there for the Roar on the shore. So nice to see that they do not garage people on drinks! It was hot and sunny, but they have misters outside that kept you comfortable! Played cornhole and had a blast!
