disappointing experience. Whenever i go there the angry chinese boss is yelling at innocent employees. NOT HYGIENIC at all . the counter had a thick layer of dust on it. Well i think that is the reason there donuts and coffee taste different. Lick the floor for better taste . Disgusting excuse for a coffee shop . TERRIBLE

My husband, Lou and I enjoy our visits to Donut King. The coffee, toasties and cinnamon doughnuts are delicious. The prices are reasonable and portions good. Donut King is value for money.

The middle aged Chinese woman serving has an attitude problem and is extremely moody and customers have noticed. Otherwise the coffee and the rest of the menu tastes great.

Ok place to grab a donut for the kids or sit and have a coffee. Usually staffers nice. In a busy section of the Plaza.

If I could rate this place 0, I would. The boss is ALWAYS yelling at her employees in a horrible way for insignificant reasons. There is no definite line of where you should line up to order, so people are constantly getting served in random order. The Chinese boss actually YELLED at me telling me to wait when I was only trying to tell her I was waiting to order before the family she was about to take orders from. I will NEVER order from here again. I have tried to give them multiple chances but it is the same negative environment every time.

How hard is it when you have a dozen coffee orders to steam more milk that just one little jug. 15 min wait for a coffee is poor. Terrible time management.

The worst dougnuts this side of those that come pre-packaged. Ran across this place when I first got to Australia. In addition to bad doughnuts, they use a sort of "rip-off" logo and name that will make anyone from the USA think of Dairy Queen (Donut King). Trouble is, they aren't even up to Dairy Queen's minimal standards. Wait for Walker's to open up in Epping Plaza -- THEN you'll be able to munch on REAL, and tasty, doughnut. :)
