Super friendly staff, food was great, not busy at all around 10am Friday. Nice music. Parking limited but expected with the location. Tons of options!

I miss my Mozy burritos so much. :( so sad to drive up and see the cafe burned down recently. Mozy’s is an iconic coastal stop, and well worth my out-of-the-way 20 minute drive to get there. There’s nothing like it in San Diego. Bring back the tropical burrito and good vibes!! We miss you Mozy, and your colorful neighbors! Wishing you all a speedy and vibrant recovery.

Cuban burrito was delicious and kept me full all day. The smoothie wasnt anything special... just juice with rice milk and ice. Food is amazing. Cool vibes for sure.

This place is wonderful. The food is cheap and filling and delicious. The burritos are so good, and the fridge full of salsa is a nice touch. Plus the acai bowls are HUGE.

I've been coming here for over 20 years, and it has been a five-star staple of the community the entire time. As of February, it's under new ownership. The changes to the food are nothing but negative. I've never not finished a burrito from them, but today might be the first. The owner seems friendly and intelligent, so I hope to god that he's willing to accept that the negative reviews are genuine, and revert the changes to suppliers, kitchen staff, or recipes that he's made.
I've loved this place my entire life (since it was Papa Gus), and I'd like to keep it that way.
Edit: smoothie was still good.
