Enjoyed this casual restaurant. There are QR codes at each table and you simply scan, order and pay on your phone. Service is friendly and efficient. I tried the smashed salmon and broccoli. Enjoyed both- they had nice flavors but a bit too much oil for my liking. My partner had the brisket and Brussels sprouts. He absolutely loved both. Not too many vegan options. Some indoor and outdoor seating

one of our go tos for consistently good asian food. love the plethora of delicious sauces and how well fried the dishes are without being greasy. spicy sauce is spicy.
highly recommend the dimsum brunch on fri - sun. it has a majority of the dinner menu items but in smaller portion sizes so you can try more things! but chiko hits the spot regardless of meal time.
everyone loved the XO shrimp porridge the most. personal favs include the soy glazed brisket, cumin fried lamb and orange-ish chicken.

Everything we ordered was amazing! We are foodies and eat at wonderful restaurants, both expensive and reasonable priced and can honestly say eating here is a must. I can’t express enough how delightful and distinct each dish was. Fresh, delicious, light yet substantial. We will be coming back again!

Extremely impressive. From the atmosphere to the staff to the food. The staff is incredibly kind. They were so welcoming and very accommodating. The food…… seriously…. The food! It was amazing. Best pork fried rice ever. All the sauces were incredible. Will definitely be going back.

People were friendly. Inside dining is super loud but outside is nice. Food was good although a little bit on the greasy side. They did an awesome job of accommodating meal to be vegan! Close to 5 stars but not quite in my book!

The go-to place for anyone visiting North County or Encinitas. Always worth the drive, the price, the line… the food is just that good. My first recommendation when someone asks where they should get dinner. I’ve gone about 10-15 times over 2years.
