I got there just before closing and they happily served me coffee and cake. A happy cyclist!

One of my favourite local coffee shops. The coffee is delicious and the food is generally very good too. I certainly isn't cheap but it is usually fairly busy and well staffed which tells you a lot about a place. Dog, cyclist and child friendly

Great coffee and cake, seems like there is a bit of experimentation going on with the cake choices which is to our advantage as there were some cool flavours. Nice chatty staff, pleasant indoors or out the front. Cycle racks outside and very cycle friendly.

Had the absolute pleasure of attending the French food evening hosted by South Downs at 172. We left thoroughly stuffed and very happy. Please keep these events coming. I always enjoy the café and this was another welcome fantastic addition to enjoy.
