Stopped here after getting skunked at a few places in Ellsworth (places randomly closed for the day, etc) and I've never been happier about having to scramble to find a place to eat. Hands down the best burrito I've ever eaten. The fact it weighed as much as a small child was a nice surprise, you won't leave hungry that's for sure.

1st time visitor: I've driven by here a million times and have often said "I gotta stop in sometime!" Today, I did. I'm a burrito fan and have been disappointed in the past with the Maine version of a burrito...usually kinda skimpy, not a lot of distinct flavors, sort of like re-heated frozen fare. Not so with 86 This! I ordered the Boss Hog burrito on a spinach wrap. First of all, let's talk girth...this thing was a brick of food, a hefty handful that felt like a meal. Next, flavor. Wow. Delightful blend of pulled pork and veggies. No soppy juices running down my arm, a meaty filled burrito worthy of praise. Polish it off with a craft soda and I may not be hungry for dinner tonight...it left me full! Well done! I'm coming back to try some of the other choices...I won't wait so long to try it again!

I don’t typically leave reviews. I can’t think of any time before, ever, where I wrote a review for something random that I had come across. I was passing through Ellsworth a few days ago after visiting Acadia NP and decided to pop into this place for something quick to eat before heading onward. I ordered the CBGB burrito and … wow. I was just so impressed. So impressed by the flavour of this burrito. The service was great, the food was great. It was exactly what I needed and definitely check it out if you are in the area.

If you like Chipotle, but want to support a local business and have a deliciously fresh burrito, 86 This is the place to go. Make sure to eat in the beautiful lawn in the back. The music is a bit loud inside so that might not be for everyone. The burritos are about 13 dollars each, but you can easily get 2 meals out of them.
