Applebee's

We visited this Applebee’s two weeks ago and we’re very pleased with the experience, so much so, I felt I needed to share. We don’t come to these chain restaurants often, but we had a large group (8 kids, ranging from 12-18 yo) and 4 adults. Following the final night of a school play, this is where the kids wanted to celebrate. The service was fantastic! We had the kids sit at one table and adults at an adjacent table, the staff eagerly accommodated this request. The menu options were great, the price was reasonable and the food quality was excellent. We were pleasantly surprised with the entire experience. The next day I realized I’d left my purse hanging on the chair at Applebee’s and expected the worst. Lo and behold, they had my bag and were holding it for me! I retrieved it the next day and was so grateful to the staff for keeping it safe. Great job to the entire team, especially the manager (I assume) who checked in on is a few times and made sure we were in good hands— he was friendly, helpful and funny. I should have reviewed them right away, but life got in the way. We will be back!

Customer service is key. Care is key. Pick up orders appear to get disrespected. My order was signed off as correct by Bry. But after I drove 7 miles home I found that it was not correct. My drinks were not filled to the top and my order was missing all the toppings and the side. I called the restaurant and was asked to return. When I arrived back for the replacement meal, I was ignored by Bry? and another server at the pick-up counter for what felt like 10 minutes. I then overheard Bry talking about other orders... that this is the 3rd pick-up order, and that we (servers) are not going to make any money. I'm thinking could this be why there's no real care about the pick up order customer experience ? She knew I was waiting to be helped with our replacement order but chose to take a pickup order phone call. This is after we had already been standing there for a while like I was invisible. I had to finally get her attention telling her I've been waiting for a while. And I asked for the manager. The manager Dave was apologetic and helpful. I will update this review after the meal refund is received.

We arrived at this location and made a reservation around 8:30. After about a quick minute we got a message saying our table was ready. We went inside to check in but workers said our table wasn’t ready yet because it was still being “cleaned”. Although there was several tables available it took 30 minutes for us to be seated. We sat there for nearly 30 minutes with not even our drink orders taken. Then a party of 9+ came in and got their drinks taken as soon as they sat down. They even ordered their meals while my family and I just sat there waiting. Waitress just stood there having a chat knowing well we haven’t been served. Service was just extremely upsetting and ruined everyone’s appetite. This should be taken care of as soon as possible. This place has lost a loyal family.

The bartender took our order. She was very personable and I could tell she was very good at her job. My dad and I got the $25 meal deal. We both had the riblets with fries and the mozzarella sticks for the appetizer. The riblets were cooked perfect and were very tender the fries were not hot but they were still good. I want to think that bartender for being kind. We basically closed down Applebee's with her and she was patient and did not try to rush us out. The only thing she forgot was to charge me for my drink which I let her know that she needed to add it on. Plus if I hadn't I wouldn't have been able to get my one free movie ticket. The place was clean didn't use the bathroom so I can't tell you about that.

Very busy, long waits and small servings. The food did taste good. My boyfriend ordered ribs, and they tasted great, but had no meat on them. I ordered bourbon street chicken and it tasted great, but very small portions compared to other restaurants with similar prices. Probably won't be going back anytime soon.

I ordered the rib eye medium and when I got my meal it was well done. It took a while to get our waitress to come by to show her. I ate some of the potatoes and broccoli. I wasn't trying to get a free meal, I just wanted a new steak. Not only was the rib eye perfect they gave it to me for free. I don't like to complain but I am glad I did cuz I so enjoyed my rib eye.
