Was really looking forward to eating here but what a disappointment. Ordered wings, no wings and then I ordered some potato skins and ended with a sad attempt at them under cooked bacon, cold hard sour cream and unmelted cheese plus more batter than potatoe. Burger was ok but bread was old and fries under seasoned saggy and oily. Sent back the potato skins as they were inedible and still got charged. Not sure if it was an off night for the kitchen but in my opinion you are better off eating at a gas station.

We love eating at Bernie’s. The food is made from scratch so it takes a little longer sometimes to get food (depending on your order) but it’s soooo worth it. I haven’t tried anything that I didn’t love. The staff is amazing. My kids were not on their best behavior and they were understanding and made us feel like family. I’ve seen a few complaints about prices of food and I don’t understand why. If you want home cooked meals made from scratch it cost more than going somewhere that just heats it up in the microwave and brings it out. They take their time with each plate. Great local business that we will continue to support.

We went twice. The first time for breakfast on a weekend and the food was good and service was great, even if a little overpriced. We returned a week later for dinner because we were looking forward to trying some of the other menu items. Unfortunately this time the tables were dirty and, sadly, both of the people that served us had an odor that made us want to walk out, but since we were only one of two sets of customers we pushed our food around the plates and left as soon as possible. I really liked the idea of this place being a great local diner, but unfortunately it fell far short. We won’t be going back.

Family owned and operated restaurant that has amazing mouth watering meats, savory sides, and heart warming service. All burgers are marinated 12 hours fresh ground in house and cooked to order. All you can eat fish fry Friday. Slow roasted prime rib on Saturdays starting at 5pm. 12oz steak with salad bar and potato only $20 can't beat this anywhere!

I NEVER write bad reviews but had to do it this time. I have been here twice and it's been terrible on both visits. Our family will never go back and too bad because we are local and new to the area. Food- My BLT was the most pathetic BLT I have ever ordered or made myself at home. Not sure what else to say- dry, no substance, small, and I could have made a better one at home without trying. Service- This is the most painful aspect- there is none. There was, and on both visits, only 1 waitstaff, they are way understaffed and Service was the worst. We waited 25 min after seating to even Order. The entire experience was 2 hours and the service was horrible and the food quality was aweful. I ordered a Beer and finally told her just to cancel it as it never came. Wait time- worst I've had in years. And all she did was apologize to every table as she went around to finally get to them. The place was not overly busy, they just are not vested in getting the help they need. The apology tour was exactly the same as my last visit. If you have time on your hands- good luck- if not, don't waste your time as the food and services is not worth it. I WOULD NOT recommend going to this place on any level. Horrible.
