Egg Roll Express

Definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve eaten at. I’m from out of town and wanted a good spot to have lunch at, decided to try this place after reading the good reviews. I tried the moo goo gai pan with the fried rice, very flavorful and I don’t feel weighed down after finishing up. Big portion of food, for $8 you can’t beat the large size and soup as well. Overall excellent experience!

Came here for the first time today and the food was just okay. The portions were very generous, and it was enough food for two meals. Unfortunately, they seem to be going for quantity over quality. I ordered the general Tso's chicken dinner combo with pork fried rice and a chicken egg roll. The egg roll was was terrible. It was soft and chewy with ground chicken inside. It lacked any flavor. The fried rice was fine, but it had no real flavor, it was just very oily. The pork was not the bbq pork you usually get in fried rice and it was very mushy. General Tso's chicken is not an authentic dish, but this wasn't made like any general Tso's I've ever had. It was just orange chicken with crushed red pepper on it. It wasn't made with any hoisin or chili peppers typically found in general Tso's. It tasted good, but it wasn't really what I wanted. The chicken was also too heavily breaded. Overall, I would give other dishes a shot, but as of now everything was a bit underwhelming.

I used to work right across the street from this place for years. The food has ALWAYS been good and consistent. I consider myself an experienced Chinese food eater and this is top shelf. They make it fresh and make their own special items like kimchi and duck sauce. They even have ham fried rice as their house fried rice which is unique and very good. The owner and her kids are also a delight!

They don't know what BROWN RICE is...They take white rice and saturate it with SOY sauce. Real Brown Rice is actually a real food. They should disclose this, and not FALSLEY advertise. I specifically asked them this. Their food is very high sodium and MSG. Probably what keeps people hooked on this food.
