Went to Applebee's in Elgin tonight. Waited 40 minutes for a table (which is fine). We get seated waited 8 minutes and not one person acknowledge us. Then they sat a huge family right behind me. No dividers between myself and the guy behind. We got up left and told them why were were leaving and they didn't even care. Will not be going back.

Great/Friendly service from the staff. Food tasted how it should and presentation was excellent. I enjoyed my drinks and nachos with beef. Loaded nachos are kinda my weakness and this place be having really good ones. The wait time to even get a single drink took too long but having a nice waitress kinda made it better.

We had the two for $20 and what a great meal we had.. the appetizer alone was $10 and then two wonderful entrees. Parking right outside the building they came to the car.. nice and easy. Let me say that there baked onion soup is the best I've ever had.

Very bad service, the server literally ignored us and not even asked for a drink refill from.start to finish. I called the restaurant manager who was very friendly and offered free desert, but I declined as I reported my experience to him to correct the behavior of his staff and not interested in free food. Worse experience and will not go again.

I had Awesome time with the family, for my Bday here.

It was a great experience! Our Server Melissa N. was pleasant, kind and thorough. The restaurant was not busy, but Wuhan flu precautions were followed. Masks were on all employees and they were cleaning the tables as the patrons left the building. Actually, you would have thought they were cleaning a surgery suite. Kind of overkill!
The food was great and will definately come back again even thought it was 20 miles from my house.

the 2 for $20 deal is great. My wife and I come here at least once a week. Tastes just as good for takeout too

Friendly and quick service. Good food at a reasonable price. Waitstaff and Manager did all they could to make it a pleasant experience with a 2 year old in tow.
