It's a distance from the rest of the restaurants but adequate parking for trucks, RVs, and trailers. Wanted to try something different than the typical eggs, bacon, biscuits, gravy, and grits so I took a chance with the hash brown casserole. I promise you won't be disappointed. Hash browns covered with melted cheese, scrambled eggs, bacon, chopped tomatoes and green onions then topped with deep fried onion rings.

Great first experience at Cracker Barrel. Got seated quickly with a short wait, great waitress with lots of knowledge about the food, and ended with a nice shopping trip in the country store.

Reasonable wait time to get seated. It took over an hour to get our food and then mine was overcooked. Server was polite and apologetic. I could hear the family behind us complain about the wait and they ended up just leaving. When we paid, the lobby was overly packed. Personally, I think if they had extended the wait time to be seated they would have a better balance on the ticket time. Seeing as they just rushed everyone to a seat as it became available instead of monitoring ticket volume as well, it's not surprise out experience was disappointing. Also was let down with this location not offering mimosas.
EDIT:
Went back this weekend with 2 friends. They forgot my hashbrown casserole and fruit.
On my friends they forgot the grits and eggs.
On my other friends, a piece of the shell was in her eggs.
What are they doing there?

It was very slow. The service was fine. The food was fine.

Always a great meal. This visit was exceptional because they had the greeter at the entrance rather than having to fight your way back. There was quite a bit of management monitoring the operation and clearly things were running smoothly. This cracker barrel is much better than the average.

We had an excellent experience at this Cracker Barrel restaurant. Food was really good, hot and served in a timely fashion. Waitress, Val, was great, very friendly and accurate. You could tell they were short on help, but they did a great job keeping up. There was a wait but nothing unreasonable.

We waited 10 minutes after being seated before we saw our waitress. She was friendly and brought our drinks quickly. From there it went downhill. It was 30-40 minutes before she came and told us that they were short handed in the kitchen. Then there were no biscuits, but she said the manager was cooking more. Later she brought us hot biscuits. She was doing her best, I believe. But there were at least 4 tables with dirty dishes on them and we Never saw the manager. And how does CB run out of biscuits at supper time!

I'm a bit disappointed they took away the omelet, but the service was great as always. Food came out quickly and correctly. They were pretty much full, so the wait staff was moving. They did an excellent job giving us adequate attention regardless.
