Bareburger - Edgewater

We loved it, our visit was casual cause we were waiting for our glasses (next door) and kiddos were hungry. But what a good coincidence, food was good fries perfect crunchy as we didn't got long time ago. But the party OMG amazing tasty and juicy. The service was good and they have tablets as a menu the experience was fun for my kids and u as a parent could have a little drink to enjoy. Definitely recommend it

To preface this review, I have been an avid fan of bareburger since 2015 but after having it again, things have certainly changed. Had high hopes of coming back after a couple year hiatus and my expectations were not met. The bread was stale, a burger that tasted like a hot dog (?), and was cooked beyond a medium well, and flavorless French fries, this is no longer my ultimate burger recommendation. There are better options and I would avoid this if possible. It seems the glory days of bare river have sailed and it is now just another overpriced eatery with only a hard to prove promise of being “organic” going for it.

The staff was nice. Fast service: Sat, ordered, and ate within an hour. The burgers were not as juicy and flavorful as we expected, but they were still delicious. We were a little disappointed with the amount of onion rings we got in our shared fries & onion rings. Their sauces tasted homemade. We would definitely stop in again if we are in the area again. Especially for their happy hour special $6 cocktail with a burger.

I always expect Bareburger to be pricy, but this last takeout order really took it to a new level. Our onion rings side order cost us $5. For that, we received exactly 5, count 'em, FIVE onion rings. ONE 👏 DOLLAR 👏 PER 👏 ONION 👏 RING Two stars are for the delicious burgers, but nope, not gonna be coming back here anytime soon.

This was the first time at the restaurant, previously we were ordering on-line. The place is really nice, I liked the atmosphere, the concept and the service. If you like rock 🎸🤘 and grunge, you'll find the ambience a perfect fit. The guy who took our order was kind and helpful. About food, the burgers are good but not the best we've had. Maybe a Saturday morning is not the right time to eat burgers. Also, we tried the mimosa flight, was really good, specially the strawberry and peach flavor. Of course we will back!
