Starbucks

Today was my first time at this location. I was not happy or impressed. The drive through line was long and I decided to go inside to order. There were two very hardworking people at the drive through but no one working the front counter. I waited , thinking they must be short staffed. After about 5/6 minutes standing there, the drive thru worker noticed us. She immediately got on her microphone and called for someone to come put from the back, informing them they had customers. Again, I waited 2/3 minutes. Then once again, the same girl calls for help from the back. Finally out walks two teen girls giggling and acting silly and one steps up to take my order bur kept being distracted because she wanted to turn around to see what her friend was up to. I finally got my order taken and then waited over 15 minutes to get two drinks. And Heidi was not friendly at all when she tossed two drinks at me and one wasn't wasn't mine so I told her I had only ordered one of the drinks infront of me, she snapped "IM MAKING THE OTHER ONE"! I haven't ever waited that long at a Starbucks or even had any issues at all with customer service. I think I'll stick to the store in Powdersville, they are always kind and quick.

Tonight I went to the store and ordered a frappuccino venti size with two shots of espresso. The drink did not have any carmel in it. The drink wasn't mixed correctly because it had chunks of ice in it. It literally tasted like the two shots of espresso and ice. The whipped even froze over. I am a frequent customer (I mean the day shift knows me by name). But tonight's shift was HORRIBLE.

On a cold and rainy night in Easley, SC, my daughter and I decided to stop into Starbucks for a hot coffee beverage. I have been to Starbucks half a dozen times in my life. My main take away was that the drinks were either too bitter or sweet for my taste. The decor is great at this location. It feels like you're in the place to be. We had a lot of drinks to choose from but chose pretty readily. I ordered a hot butterscotch latte. The barista asked about my taste. From my reply, she said she would use one shot of syrup instead of two in my drink. It was tasty and the right amount of sweetness for my palate. My daughter loved her caramel macchiato, as well. Great job with the drinks. The place had a fairly steady stream of customers, but it was not overcrowded or uncomfortable. Speaking of comfortable, we took the two comfy chairs at the front. The two of us were enjoying our drinks, talking to each other, and I was leisurely writing on my laptop. I was feeling pretty inspired, which I think was mostly to do with the change of environment. We were appreciating this visit tremendously. Before long, a woman sat beside me and started talking to us. We started talking about the coffee and the location. We talked about a variety of subjects. Before we knew it, it was about closing time and we'd conversed for hours! Before we parted ways, we exchanged phone numbers, so that we could keep in touch and go for coffee again sometime. How many places do you think you will get a hot beverage and come away with the bonus of friendship.

This is a busy location and that's great. However, they could use some help with their mobile pickups. When I go there and say my name and they tell me my order is not ready, I assume that when my order is ready they'll call my name. Unfortunately, I waited another 10 minutes and finally went up and said is my order ready and it was sitting there.
