So happy we found this adorable and friendly Italian house! Our server was super cool and put up with us hopping to different tables to find the warmest seat. The food is amazing, the lasagna is a giant slice of deliciousness with rich tomato sauce. The chicken marsala was perfect for my friend and her whole30-esq diet. We cleaned our plates and recommend coming here to EVERYONE - the food is homey and tasty and the vibe is relaxed and warm.

Definitely a great Italian place, run by what appears to be a family. Very humble place, and very attentive to their guests. Great daily deals, and a large selection of wine. We were the first customers on that Tuesday, so the owner gave us a free dessert on the house, very nice! Girlfriend may or may not have gotten somewhat sick from the eggplant parmesan. That said, we agreed it was the best eggplant parmesan we'd ever had. Go!

What can i say! We live in Denver and first visited Pastatively in 2008 when me and my wife stayed the night at a nearby hotel in Eagle. What an experience and impact that visit to Pastatively had made, we enjoyed our evening some of the best Italian food we have had... indeed delicious, rich but never to forget... the impact was such that anytime we were visiting the mountains, driving by Eagle, we made it a point to try getting a spot at this ever busy place for a meal and if that didn't work out, we ordered to go and literally drove back home and ate the food! Our most recent visit was with our kids when we visited Vail, but called in, checked for the wait time (lucky for us that Covid, made that possible) and we decided to dine there. The experience, same as the one we had back 12 years ago when we first visited the place... Great service and awesome food! kids enjoyed every dish we ordered and they even asked us to get a pint of soup to go! they loved is so much! Love the ambiance, the staff, the service and of course the food! delicious! will visit again when we are around...

If i could give less than 1 star I would! They were so rude. We were visiting and just hoping to get some pasta and so excited it was so close to our hotel! Walked in and they said they can't seat us even with tons of empty seats. Then we asked if we can place an order to go and they said no! We called and asked to place a to go order and sure enough they suddenly can take a to go order! When we asked why we couldn't place an order to go a few minutes ago in person, suddenly they couldn't take to go orders again. Guess they didn't like us for some reason. Started thinking about it and I hope it isn't because of my color or that my friend had his service dog. So sad.

Great ambiance. Feels little a family owned Italian restaurant although I don't know the background. The dish I had tasted like someone had used fresh ingredients and complex flavors.prepared like someone who loves to cook. Highly recommend

Went here for dinner at 530 with 4 adults and 3 kids and were turned away and told they couldnt serve us until after 8pm when they close at 9. We asked if we could order take out they said no they absolutely couldnt handle takeout for 7. So we left. I Called a few minutes later and asked if they did take out, they said yes for how many? I asked why she wouldnt take our take out order when we were there in person and asked to speak to a manager. I could hear her say to the manager "you know those people that came in for take out, well they are on the phone now because i answered the call saying we can do take out and NOW they want to SPEAK with a MANAGER, the manager gets on the line and says how can i help you and i asked why they would take our order over the phone but not in person, and he said "weeeeelll were just really busy and I just talked with the chef he said he is too busy for that size of a party. Honestly, not sure if it was the children, the service dog, or the color of my friends skin that made them feel it was necessary to deny us service, but either way, I wouldnt support a business with such poor ethics and customer service.

My parents and sister are local and I asked to go for Italian when I came to visit. They all loved this place and my mom made a reservation about a month ago. When we showed up for our reservation last night, the hostess said that it would be an hour and 15 min wait. When we asked even with a reservation? She replied that a reservation wasn’t a guarantee for a table. What is a reservation then? She didn’t even offer to put us at the top of the list or anything like that to accommodate the reservation. When we told her that no one mentioned that policy when we made the reservation she said they had a new girl on the phone that day. When we told her it was made a month ago, she just said she was sorry and there was nothing she could do. Can’t even comment on the food because we never sat down. We left immediately. I’m super bummed because I didn’t get to experience the food and probably won’t, because I don’t think I will be going back. Probably no one from my family either.
