Subway

One star for extremely bad customer service. Typically I spend about $15 a week here before or after my shopping as it is convenient. My mother came with me this time and was not feeling well. She went to the counter to buy a cup with ice so that she could pour her warm Ensure into it. The woman at the counter would not sell her a cup for ice. She told my mother "No, no cup". My mom came back and told me they must be out of cups. I looked and saw a man receiving a cup as we left. I can only assume this woman suspected my mom of trying to get a free drink. I asked my mom if she offered to pay and she said yes a couple times. This is very poor customer service and I am angry that I am regular here and have given them my business. I took my sick mother to QT where they were willing to sell my mother a large cup of ice for 25 cents. She was thankful and was telling her story to the attendent when he decided he wasn't going to charge her at all. This Subway was too worried that someone might try to steal a drink (even when money was offered for the cup) that common sense and courtesy went out the window. They will not be receiving my business again.
