Denny's

Staff was nice and friendly but the cook has no clue what he's doing. Upon arriving, we were greeted with fruit flies and trash all over. As well as dirty tables. I ordered the new cinnamon roll crunch pancakes. Every other Denny's I've been to has never failed at this item. The first ones they brought me looked like regular pancakes with cinnamon sprinkled on top. Not even close. Then the server had the audacity to tell me that it's the same and that maybe the toppings just mixed into the dough. Their second attempt looked even worse. Still not even close to the picture. The manager was nice enough to give us a bit of a discount but that cook needs to be re-trained or let go. He couldn't even get scrambled eggs right. The easiest thing to make. They looked like a failed attempt at an omelet.

I went to this Denny's a couple of days ago. The food was great! Service was quick and friendly. Our tables were clean, prepped, and the ambiance was friendly and welcoming. Management would drop in to make sure we were satisfied with our visit. One of the better Denny's I've been to. This Denny's is centrally located. I had the chicken fried steak skillet off the value menu. It's a good deal. The steak was fried perfectly with the right amount of crisp. The eggs were delicious. And the gravy was perfect. The service was excellent! Thanks to our amazing server.
