If you want good fish & chips, a well run business & good service, look no further.

I'm not a regular customer because I don't visit Devizes very often but when I do I always buy lunch from this chippie because I find the quality reliable and the service cheerful and friendly. They seem to cook to order so the food is always fresh. The price of cod and chips is pretty reasonable and the portion sizes are perfect for me.

Called in on Wednesday lunchtime, very busy as it always seems to be, served by a very friendly lady with a beaming smile, my Cod and Chips were cooked fresh with a light and crispy batter and served in a bio friendly box. The young man cooking at the time was very knowledgeable and was even able to tell me the name of the boat that the fish was caught by and the variety of the potatoes used, I will definitely be back for more.

Whilst this isn't a sit-down establishment (and therefore "atmosphere" isn't really applicable) as Lemon Plaice deserves 5 out of 5 in all aspects, I would hate for them to be marked down because I didn't score a 5 here. Best fish and chips in the area in our opinion. Great service too!

I would love to say that this portion of fish and chips was just as yummy as it always is but, being greedy I suppose, I was disappointed there were not so many chips as usual. I was quite disappointed but probably healthier 😞.

Quite simply, the best fish and chips I've ever eaten. And always consistently good. Batter is rich and crispy without being greasy or overbearing and the chips are exactly what you want from a chippie.
