Vivace! on the menu had all the classic dishes you would find in Italian American contemporary but without the usual overreaching for flavor with robust or explosive flavors but in finding the right balance in the blend of simple ingredients. The steamed mussels were just right without being too salty and too simple. Accompanied with the classic Caesar it is very recommendable. I ordered the NY strip steak which was cooked just right and most likely was placed aside before serving as it retained all it's juices. The spinach and mushrooms were great to sit aside the generous portion of the meat cut. The manager came and asked how the food and the overall stay at the hotel was which I find refreshing, having stayed at many hotels on my trip. My server for the night was Samantha who provided great suggestions, was very professional while keeping everything comfortable and friendly, and made the dinner experience 5 stars.
