I live two blocks from this 711 and have been going here for years. There is an older gentleman clerk who smokes cigarettes who has worked there for a long time, and always gives me good service. Considering this location is behind the jail, and is overrun by homeless folks, the older clerk has incredible patience. I am surprised he has been able to tolerate such a job, Considering the rude people he is routinely dealing with. On the downside, this clerk works the most and does it all, and sometimes he has to close the store late at night, because he works the truck all by himself. Frankly this guy is a rare gem of a person, and deserves a big raise and better position. He has to be over 50, and the place is family run. And not one young man comes to help him stock the store he does is alone. Do consider this before you talk bad about him, think about his work and customer service ethics. Thanks for everything 711.

Had to be the rudest people who work here . If you aren’t happy with your job -quit ! Store is poorly stocked and floor is filthy No coffee at noon. Unacceptable for a place that is known for their coffee

The guy who works most nights, an older gentleman, he's always on his phone and is very rude. I thought it might have been a language barrier, but a customer asked for a refund for his drink when they were out of coffee and he refused the first time. The customer had to ask twice for his money back before he relented and gave it to him. He clearly understands what he's doing and he's being unprofessional on purpose. I come here frequently when I get off work and I just don't think I can do it anymore.

Store is consistently dirty. Restrooms are very often out of order. Cups are often not stocked. Have to ask. Frequently out of coffee and soda flavors. Dirty. Rude employees. Especially Lynne. Have been a customer for years. No more.

Thank you !! Thank you!! Your employee "Jamie" is just amazing! 🤗🤗he has the best customer service ever! If I could rate him 20 stars I would! ME and all my family friends CO workers everyone stop by for a drink to get gas or whatever we need just because he brights our day! Hes a Hard workers cares about his job and customers he is the best you could ever hire thank you Jamie you are the best and if one day I don't see him there u will loose us as customers ... keep up the good work !🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗👍👍👍👍THANK YOU!!!!

The employees Jacob, Tuan, Mary, and Joshua are extremely nice and helpful. I actually look forward to visiting this location because I will definitely receive fast, friendly and accurate service. I have visited other 7-11's and not had pleasant experience s. Thumbs up to the McKinney St Store for the employees listed above.

Went up there to grab some taquitos and a hot dog for lunch with coupons I had. Woman kept ringing up a Big Bite instead of a Quarter Pound Big Bite and was saying that I owed 64¢ when the total listed was -64¢ which means their drawer is going to be up by ¢64 at shift end. The guy behind the counter did the same thing about a week ago. Woman moved up hot dogs without checking the internal temps AS REQUIRED BY FOOD SAFTEY AND 7-ELEVEN POLICY. Woman had the nerve to say "I know how to do my job, honey." When it was obvious just based on the situation that she doesn't and I was a store manager for 7-Eleven not even a year ago. I'll be contacting corporate so they know.
